No, you guys do not. I made pancakes, I establish the rules, but I have no real authority to change it. The mini game you guys are playing is filled with syrup because at the end of the day, I have to wear stretch pants. Velour stretch pants. You want a game without buttsecks, you make your own game when the current one is derailed all to hell. It's that simple. My Mom contact every single person's parents and complain at them. And Mogwai, you make a single change to the main game, and you will be hugged not just from the back, but from the front as well.

I'm curious as to what authority you maintain in a forum. Outside of ignoring other customers by yourself, I don't see what exactly you can do.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous, people. Just leave the Tingle games be and move on. Or better yet, take epic's advice and actually vote them down. That's what I'm doing; I've actually played both games, and they are some of the most cringe-worthy titles ever to have any sort of attachment to the Zelda franchise.

Now I know what you guys are thinking; if they're that bad, and I'll vote them off anyways, then what's the point in keeping them in? Well, alright; I don't really know the answer myself. But I don't make a fuss over it. I just vote them off because I happened to play these games and they're embarrassing. You keep making arguments saying that you are standing up to democracy...by completely destroying all order on the game thread? He put them on the list, and he's not letting up; get over it. This is childish and stupid. Shut up and play it his way, or don't play at all.

The sooner you guys cooperate, the better it will be for everyone else.

Are these pancakes from scratch?

I think its more an issue with the OP and his attitude that's fueling it.

Yeah, I think relatively few craps are given about the games. Gordan deleted games from the Final Fantasy game at will because it suited him, but he goes apecrap if someone suggest doing something to "his" game.

Mogs: Well... Bisquick.

Bisquick?! Your dead to me.

For some reason this thread reminds me of Drunk Link.

Mike Gordan says:
Mega Robot: First of all, I was the host of the Final Fantasy games thread, so I had the right to delete them. Second of all, nobody was paying any attention to those games and we were heading into the final stretch of the contest for them to have any real purpose said game (it'd be wrong on so many levels for them to be finalists simply because nobody paid any attention to them). Third of all, Final Fantasy was a rather big series that needed some trimming; on the other hand, Zelda is comparatively small at 14 main games, 3 spinoffs, and the Unholy Triforce that is the CD-I trilogy; the games I presented here in this thread was essentially it when it came to the Zelda franchise. Fourth, that was my first forray into the gaming threads here in the video game forum; I overstepped my boundaries when it came to Final Fantasy expecting every single Final Fantasy game to have its fans and detractors; I was wrong, and I have improved.

Fifth, and most importantly, both games were my games. I made the rules, and I expect you guys to follow them (again, I can predict why the fad died out so long ago; everybody had to take matters into their own hands when it came to these games, and ultimately, nobody wanted to follow the rules). And if I were a dictator here on these forums, I'd be demanding each and every one of you to vote up Ocarina of Time and vote everything else down. Seriously, you're treating the Tingle games as if it were a federal bill for gun control that I'm trying to pass.

Oh, and sixth of all, there are at least 2 people that are getting involved with the Tingle games, so obviously, they aren't being ignored like the small bulk of the Final Fantasy games I had to axe. Ultimately, not only do neither you guys possess the proper authority to forceably remove those games, but there is no reason to, no proper excuse to give me, and absolutely no reason for them to not be in this game. The only way they are going anywhere is if people voted them off. I know that requires sacrificing at least a full day's worth of voting, but it ain't gonna kill ya to get rid of them the honest and legit way.

That's a pretty big Teal Deer you're riding there. For the record, though, the fad died out because a couple people got super crazy serious, almost obsessive about these stupid games, and went and ruined the fun for everyone by being over-dominating and freaking out when things didn't go their way.

Sounds kiiiinda familiar.

These games were common on the VGF for a while, and many of them did in fact reach completion. Probably because people had fun doing it...and the OP never claimed full control over the game. That is not how these things worked. If the OP can delete any entries at will, then why bother?

This power trip of yours is quite amusing. This is a public forum. You have no authority over anyone else, and threads often take on a life of their own. Adapt or you will not have a fun time with the VGF.

Considering that the only threads he participates in are his own game threads, I don't think he actually intends to have fun in the VGF. Just try to rule his threads with an iron, cheeto stained fist.

"most importantly, both games were my games. I made the rules, and I expect you guys to follow them"
"I was the host of the Final Fantasy games thread, so I had the right to delete them"

See, attitude.

So if you played every Final Fantasy game, had 3 that you really like but one that you loved, you're going to make sure the one you love is near the top and defend (if need be) the ones you like from getting downvoted. However, he took it upon himself to delete them because he didn't like the pace of the game. The excuse he gives was that he wasn't wrong in deleting them, but was wrong for INCLUDING them, since they weren't hot ticket items.

This is why I will not play his games.

"I can predict why the fad died out so long ago; everybody had to take matters into their own hands when it came to these games, and ultimately, nobody wanted to follow the rules"

This is completely false and not the reason the "fad" died out. The "fad" died out because, BY IT'S DEFINITION, that's what fads do (Fad: An intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, esp. one that is short-lived; a craze. (compliments of google)). We abided by the rules of the games which were upvote/downvote one per day. Nothing crazy such as "only can vote one per release year per system but I won't put the release years on the title and expect you to know it". They were fun games. They lasted as long as they needed to, without an OP changing the rules every five seconds and trying to be the next Kim Jong Il.

Again, Attitude.

I don't have a dog in this particular fight, but it amuses me to watch this when it's obvious to a third party that the issue isn't about "Tingle" anymore.

Well in that case I intend to have fun in his threads.

No, BJ Dogg was like my arch-voting-nemesis. I actually did play those games, I think I was Fraggle Lite at the time (instead of the newer improved Augmented Fraggle that I am now). My favorite one was the Final Fantasy Aeons.

I like to think inside the bun, if you know what I mean.

Speaking of buns, so Nate! Finishing playing the Witcher yet? XD

haha, BJ Dogg is now UltimaKR, but yeah. I was fighting for Ifrit to the end! http://www.amazon.com/forum/video%20games/ref=cm_cd_pg_next?_encoding=UTF8&cdForum=Fx1T1DM93QU4XL1&cdPage=31&cdSort=oldest&cdThread=Tx2VSRX8HV1EKTR

Ah yeah, he was one of the people who drove those games to their conclusion.

Now they have returned. All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

This argument would've made a lot more sense if it was about Ocarina of Time or one of the games that might actually win (assuming this game isn't already dead). I voted right after Mogwai and I didn't even notice the tingle games were gone. They weren't necessary in the first place. If you want to be a dictator, I think there's an island near Florida that would like you.
