Well, I was excited to get Xenoblade this morning and went at as soon as Gamestop opened. Received the Art Book which is about 20 pages. It has some beautiful art work of the different areas of this game.

I have about 2 hours in so far and it's pretty good. The battle system is taking some time to get used to. The graphics are also pretty good for a Wii game. As of now, I'm just trying to get familiar with all the aspects of the game. I'll probably put another couple hours into it today.

I got my copy this morning too. I'm sadly stuck at work right now. Can't wait to get the chance to start it. I'll probably start on Sunday, since I already have other plans for tonight and tomorrow.

They may just be handing those out as first-come first-serve at some Gamestops. So I'm hoping there's still a book left by the time I get there... after work...

One of my brothers is picking mine up for me. I just need to stop at my parents on my way home to pick it up. Here is my plan.

1) Leave work.
2) Pick up pizza.
3) Stop at parents.
4) Go home, Xenoblade my butt off.

Great Fox. It might be like Cheezeman said about being first come first serve.

I received the art book with mine also, but I haven't had the opportunity to look over it yet and when the girl opened the drawer to get my game out I noticed a few other copies there that all had the book with them.

I had no idea they were including the Japanese audio track, that's a nice surprise. The British voices are quite charming though.

Mike Snyder says:
I bought two (one to leave sealed) and got an art book with one (which I wasn't expecting - maybe it was a known bonus but if so, I forgot). The second copy was a last minute decision, and according to the clerk, only the earliest pre-orders included the book.

I am quite annoyed my brother didn't pick up my copy when he picked up his. I wasted an extra trip. Playing now.

I actually ordered from the nintendo online store and it hasn't even shipped. yet.

This is what I get from supporting Nintendo directly huh?

I was thinking about ordering straight from Nintendo to get the Classic Controller/Xenoblade bundle but I knew that I wouldn't get it until atleast a week after release.

I hoep it isn't that bad.

Nintendo really needs to dock their online storefront at amazon like toys r us did for a while.

Someone in another thread said nintendo wasn't shipping until the end of the month.

I'm too busy lately, so I'm having mine shipped directly here. I'll be waiting a while for delivery--and, even then, not sure when I'll actually get to it. :(

AJF says:
I don't believe that. IT said April 6 on the storefront when I preordered it.

I picked mine up at Game Stop noonish with the very nice art book. As I expected, the cut scenes make me wish is was on the Xbox, but other than that I'm enjoying it though I haven't really figured out the battle system yet. I went around Colony 9 doing side quests and picking up collectibles but I got into the middle of a group of something not nice and they killed me, then I decided to go try to fight something easy but by myself I got ganged up on and died so I went to the lab to collect some help. I have a question. Does anyone know what the symbols over the non-dangerous critters mean? Some are grey and I suppose that means they are innocuous but some are blue. They don't appear dangerous either but it doesn't say anything in the booklet other than the colour codes for enemies. I looked at a wiki and the IGN for symbols but there was nothing. I like to know these things and also want maps since I get lost easily which is why I would buy a guide if there was such a thing but there isn't. I do like the British accents, especially when Fiora says Shulk is kind of delicate.

I ordered this on the strength of a review on ANN and that warned me that I should get a classic controller and composite cables so I had those before the game arrived. To be perfectly honest, I got the Wii to play this game though if anyone asks I got the Wii to use the exercise program. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The Nintendo store said the shipping date was April 6th when I last looked at it.
