Can you still pre-order the Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - Wizard's Edition from Namco's website?

Maybe I am rushing here, but I have the product link pulled up and I am not seeing the option to buy.

I think it ended at the end of August.

I remember there was a promotion for having a certain number of preorders to add to the Wizards edition, but I didn't think it meant you couldn't preorder it any longer.

Why did you wait so long?

The orders for the Wizard's Edition were only available up until September 1st. Stupid since the game isn't even released until January.

Crap I missed the boat on this one as well. What did they end up including so I can torture myself.

Additional prints...not sure if we ever met the quota to get that wizard coin though.
I just care about the plushy and wizard book.

It ended at the beginning of Sept.

J. Pardee says:
We met the first two goals so we get the 5 prints and the wizard's coin. They haven't shown pictures of either though so who knows if they are any good. I wonder what the third tier would have been though.

I still think the marketing for the wizard's edition was bogus. It was only available for 3-4 months and then only from one website which charged close to an extra $20 for shipping and handling. It would have been no wonder that it could have sold horribly.

Yeah the S&H cost an arm and a leg. I almost didn't wanna put my preorder in cause of that. Would think they'd make more money if they did something like BLands 2 ultimate loot edition; limited edition, not time restricted. Like you said, makes no sense why they cut off at beginning of sept while we're still so far from release date.

J. Pardee says:
Yeah, it was extremely bad thinking.

I also think the game could be selling light years better if Disney bought the distribution rights to the game. They already have the rights to North American releases of Studio Ghibli movies so it would have been easy to market to the same fans.

$20 for S&H? Mine was ten bucks and change.

J. Pardee says:
Sorry, I meant tax and shipping. I paid $17 extra for the tax and shipping on my order.

Ah, gotcha. Sales tax was another almost $10 for me, but I can't really count that, since there's nowhere I could pre-order the game without paying tax anyway.

I don't get charged tax from other sites like Amazon or Newegg so that definitely added a bit extra for me.

In reply to an earlier post on Sep 26, 2012 2:48:36 PM PDT
Yeah, both Amazon and Newegg charge me sales tax, but I understand that's not true for everyone.

I can't wait either, Jawwaad. This is probably the most anticipated game of my adult life. :-)

LOL Classic. This game really looks great and I definitely can't wait till I get it. I also pre ordered the vanilla copy from Gamestop to receive the steelbook. This will look great in my collection

Ha, I did the same thing. Glad to know I'm not the only crazy person around here, lol.

J. Pardee says:
Would you be able to take the game back for a full refund and keep the case? If you could do that I would be tempted to.

Jawwaad says:
Probably so but I'm not going to open my Wizards Editon, (I know, I'm crazy) but I want to play the game, so I pre ordered from Gamestop to get a copy to actually play.
