My final value fees are $15.98.

That's more than the shipping charges!

So I'm wondering, what would Amazon have charged me, if I had priced it at $200?

I don't know but probably less. eBay is a total ripoff now. Maybe you should have tried Craigslist.

Yeah, but I wanted to sell it right away.

I probably should have sold it here, on Amazon.

My posts would not have been deleted.

I only got $177.50 for it. Minus eBay's fees, that's $161.52. It was a bargain. Screen protector, handle grip and padded carrying case. I'm also putting the AR cards in there.

I'll pay them next month. Hopefully the buyer pays soon, so I can get the Target deal.

What's the target deal?

I looked into selling on amazon a year or so ago and it made eBay seem super reasonable. Might be different with higher priced items lIke vita tho.

Video game commission on Amazon is 15% plus base fees. When i sold an electronic item the commission seemed lower, more like 10%.

You should be able to look this up. I am not certain which category a video game console comes in. But either way, Amazon would likely have been a little higher. Did you remember to include paypal fees in your valuation?

Technically you ought to wait through the site's guarantee period before spending your profit in case of difficulty with the purchaser.

I did look it up. %15 of $200 is $30. Plus the other charges.

Oh well, it's over and done with.

I try to buy stuff that I know will enjoy. I sell very rarely, on eBay, anyway.

Weird, I priced my 3DS at $137.50 and got $132 deposited to my account, which amounts to 4%

I understand the profit motive.

I just think that these fees are a bit high, based on how much business both eBay and Amazon have.

That's actually not that bad compared to Amazon. I have something to sell so I checked and to sell the item at $130 on Amazon I would be charged $20.

Well, if you need the money, either here or eBay will get your item sold the fastest.

I'm not sure about other sites' charges.

"I priced my 3DS at $137.50 and got $132"

Not bad.
