So I guess it's officially 49ers vs Ravens, huh?

So, who are you choosing to win?

I think it's going to be one of the best Super Bowls in a long time. The story and drama behind both teams and their road to this game is really amazing. I think the 49ers are the stronger team, but the Ravens seem to have the magic with them this year. Should be great. Haven't been this excited for a Super Bowl since my Bears faced the Colts 6 years ago.

I think it's going to be a very good Super Bowl, which is closely contested to the end. I'm all for that, and I am also really looking forward to this one.

I say the Ravens take it in a nail-biter, and Ray Ray's swan song is complete. The Ravens are on a roll, and just have that certain aura about them and this run they've made. I'll say one thing, I expect some vicious hitting going on in the Super Bowl. Can't wait!

I want the 49ers to win. The steelers fans will have to let the six rings argument go.

I want the ravens to win. Did anyone catch during the post game when the 49ers where given the NFC trophy and that lady (I don't know who she was) was talking about the dynasty continuing? Maybe she has been asleep for the last twenty years, but the 49ers have done nothing since 1994. All the ravens have to do is watch the tape of when the rams played the 9ers and they'll be good.

Just wait til they do that again in fifteen years when Jerry Jones dies and the Cowboys finally make the super bowl again.

The SF 49ERS* ftw of course!!! winks*(

Dear San Francisco 49ers

Make the tackle
Get the sack
Put some fear
In that Quarterback!

Do your job
Do what you do
And never forget
Your brothers are behind you

Win with class
Lose with more
Bust your ass
Forget the score

Let a tear roll down
A chest held out
Don't you dare frown
Or start to pout*

Play them hard
Play them fast
And pray to Goddess
It's not your last

Fight them hard
Tooth and nail
Be the star*
Refuse to fail....

See YOU @ the Kaepernick Bowl...winks*

JJ join the world man, I've been a Ravens fan for 14 years, everyone always doubts the Ravens. The Ravens just went thru the MVP Peyton Manning and the #1 seed in Denver altitude and long west coast trip, and then today went thru the best coach Belichick & the best QB Brady and the #2 seed. New England had a 72-0 record when leading at halftime in Foxboro all time, now they are 72-1. New England was also the #1 offense in the NFL, they just got held to 13 points.

In the Pats defense they lost Gronk last week, Talib their #1 DB, and Patrick Chung LB, both today and the Ravens i don't think had one injury, big luck.

These two weeks will be huge for the Ravens cuz they are a banged up team. Flacco has saved his absolute best QBing for these playoffs, this year, he looks completely different and I think Caldwell is a big reason for that. First his QB coach and then took over as offensive coordnator later in the season.

Kapernick poses a problem, and the Niners defense is formidable, but if they can contain Colin I think Ravens win the SB easier than they did these last two games.

I think the attention will hurt SF more than it will hurt the Ravens because Colin is going to be a huge story and so will Ray, but Ray can handle it, I am a little nervous Ravens might be a little overconfident because they just went thru 2/3 of there toughest foes, Manning & Brady. I don't want them to underestimate the Niners but the Ravens staff won't let that happen.

I would like to see the Pats make it through a playoff run with Gronk healthy. I'm not saying that the Ravens wouldn't have won anyways, but I'd like to see them get beat when the offense is at it's most dynamic.

I'm from Baltimore and it would be nice to see Ray Lewis go out with a Super Bowl ring. Would be a great end to a great career.

I'm not from Baltimore, but I've been a fan of them for half a decade. Can't get enough of them!

JJ one more thing. The Ravens held the #1 offense in the NFL with arguably the best QB of all time, and the #1 coach in the NFL to a DONUT in the second half, but go ahead homey bet against 'em. I keep trying to make the VGF members rich but no one listens to me.

Andrew true true, BUT you saw the Ravens lost Suggs Ray Ellerbe Jimmy Smith Ladarius Webb all 3/4 were thought to be done for the year and all but Webb made it back, that was nuts. Maybe the Pats didnt want to do the rehabilitation on live or die level like these Ravens did. Suck it up Patsies. Kidding Pats scary good and you're right but Gronk wasn't much of a factor this year right hurt off/on the whole year ?

GO RAVENS !!!

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 21, 2013 7:44:24 AM PST
I'm still debating, but I've picked against the 49ers 2 times and been wrong twice (Perfect Record in all the other games tho) After watching the 49ers against the Packers and Falcons I just thought their offense looked unstoppable, so during the Patriots games (was pulling for the Ravens) I kept thinking there's no way either of these teams could beat them. However, then i thought the Ravens beat Brady, Manning and the next Peyton Manning in this playoff run. If they stopped them, they certainly can stop so kid who has only started 10 games. Then I also thought that the Ravens tend to be the team that puts a stop to new wrinkles of offense. Remember the Wildcat? Dolphins got smacked by the Ravens that year and the Wildcat did nothing. So I still don't know. Am i bias against the 49ers? perhaps, but as of now I'm leaning toward the Ravens, but not my "official" pick as of yet.

I don't know who to pick. I think the 49ers are the better team. Flacco is having a fluke playoff season where he is nearly perfect. The Ravens are playing like they are possessed on defense. It will be interesting to see what the 49ers do on offense. They ran the option with Kaepernick against the Packers and then decided to give Gore the ball against the Falcons. Maybe they will try to air it out against the Ravens. I'm going with the 49ers but I'm far from being confident on that pick.
