http://www.humblebundle.com/

Pay what you want to grab Botanicula, Machinarium, and Samorost 2 and their soundtracks. Pay more than the average to grab Kooky (a feature-length film) and Windosill.

It's the same deal as usual, though there's only one charity this time: World Land Trust. Never heard of them, myself.

I think this will be the third (yet not final) time I somehow buy Machinarium.

Second for me, though the third time I'll be buying the soundtrack, I think.

Oh, Botanicula is the new game from the people who made Machinarium. Ummm yes please take my money.

I'm in love with these types games, so of course, I had to buy it. And yeah, sign me up for the somehow-3rd-time-purchasing-Machinarium club.

Kirksplosion says:
Awesome! I actually have purchased all three games, but I'm definitely down for the soundtracks and extras.

This is also good because I felt a bit bad buying Botanicula on GoG.com, as I'd have preferred Amanita get all the funds...but I was tempted by the GoG extras. I'll make amends, and send Amanita some more cash this way.

Great Humble Bundle, for sure.

Kirksplosion says:
Yep, it won't be the last time for me either...assuming we actually get Machinarium on PSN within our lifetime.

For some reason I thought Botanicula wasn't out yet. Well guess I'll fix my whole not having bought it yet problem.

Even if we don't I'll put that in my will.

Today's the release date.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 11:52:25 AM PDT
Kirksplosion says:
It actually released today. I had pre-ordered it on GoG.com, so I've already paid for it.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 12:02:21 PM PDT
Gotcha, I was afraid it came out and I was just ignorant to it's release.

Sweet, good find.

Now I just have to remember when I get home.

Kirksplosion says:
Huh, this Bundle's average is already starting out pretty high at $8.70 right now. Maybe they always start out this high and slowly drop? The last few bundles have usually hung around the $5 or $6 range.

Question: Is it for the PC version of Machinarium only? Or perhaps the iPad version?

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 12:22:36 PM PDT
I think they usually start high and drop off a little and then slowly start to rise again. But this might be even a little higher than normal. I think the whole brand new game on day one thing helps.

Windows Mac Linux.

Damn.

They'd need to get Apple's approval for doing this sort of thing with the iOS version, and I imagine that would involve buckets upon buckets of red tape.

Perhaps we'll get it for android tablets eventually.

I think it's because you have to pay $5 to get Steam codes now. Plus Botanicula is brand new and the bonus pack includes a feature film.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 12:51:17 PM PDT
I know the minimum for steam codes came from people abusing humble bundle for some steam promotion or something. Sad panda.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 12:51:34 PM PDT
If it were for the bonus, I'd expect it to be rising, but it's been sitting pretty at just about $8.73 since I first noticed it over an hour ago.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 19, 2012 2:32:20 PM PDT
People were buying $.01 bundles and trading or selling the codes. It really became a problem during the Steam Christmas sale, when people set up a bunch of dummy accounts to earn the Christmas achievements over and over, hoarding the free gifts. You could tell when guys on the forums had accounts less than a month old and a collection of dozens of free games and coupons to trade.

$8.67 average for a Humble Bundle? I do not really care since the money goes to a good cause but this is the most expensive Humble Bundle I have ever seen.
