so i scored a copy of the PS3 version of the game, but he already used the online pass code.

I am not that interested in the multiplayer, but are the 4 additional missions for the PS3 version also included in the DLC/online pass codes or are they on the disc?

thanks

There were two different codes with the game, I believe - one for the UPlay Pass (or whatever) and one for the Benedict Arnold missions.

I believe they were part of the code. But I am not 100% sure. I am not into AC multiplayer either. I dont think I have ever touched it before.

Its two different codes. There were supposed to be two handouts: 1) One for Uplay and 2) Benedict Arnold Missions.

If it is two different codes you could probably get him to sign in on your console and download that again so you can at least play those missions. That wont work for the online pass but should for those like any other DLC

are the extra missions or online access required for the platinum trophy?

I think the worst part about not having the online pass is that the game asks you to buy it EVERYTIME you turn the stupid game on, how annoying.

That's pretty much the only reason I went ahead and activated that code.

So online codes are tied to the user and not the PS3 now? Evrey online pass I have used to so far works for any user on my PS3. Things changing?

I meant only the user that redeems can use the code. I know passes are tied to the user.

If i redeem a code like DLC under my user sure everyone on that PS3 gets that as well just like PSN games but he got AC3 from a friends so i doubt they are using the Same PS3. But I always go to my second PS3 since I have my user on that one as well and DL stuff i bought on my first PS3 and thats all i was saying he could have his friend do to get those DLC missions

But, if the friend "logs" in to his PS3 and downloads the DLC, He wouldn't be able to "Use" the online pass still? I am just wondering.

I download all the DLC, passes, PSN games etc. in my acount on both of our PS3's. If my wife or daughter logs in under their user names, they can still use all of my DLC, passes, games Etc. (That I am aware of) on either of our PS3's, they still have access to all my purchases and not worry.
