Apparently added some anti-cheat measures and improved performance. People with cheat trainers are now unable to edit saves.

Also, DO NOT USE Durante's 60FPS Unlocker! Your character will fall through the floor on spawn. I'm going to assume From also patched that part of the DSFix out.

So, what color is your soul patch?

Black.

I already have great performance using DSfix and don't play online much. Any point in doing this? How would I remove the 60 FPS unlocker if I am already using it?

Only below the waist.

You just need to turn off the unlocker in the dsfix.ini file.

Wonder why they got rid of the 60 fps unlocker? Was it causing exploits or something? And what kind of anti-cheat measures did they actually add? Are finally going to see the end of unkillable invaders?

!!!?!?

Thanks FROM. I too loved 60 fps. It does put some players at an advantage though...

Very glad about the anti-cheat measures.

I think it might have been a bug that messed up the 60fps fix and not intentionally removed.

Apparently they did move around stats and skills in the save files, because trainers don't work.

I wonder if the characters will be server side saves in Dark Souls 2?

The 60 fps unlocker gives advantages to players using it.

What advantages though? Honestly I didnt think a slightly quicker FPS would give you that much of an advantage. I mean yeah if the game was running below 30 fps for you and you were up against a 60 fps it'd be more of a difference, but that really only applies to Blighttown and the lava area that for some reason the name of is skipping my mind now.

The physics of the entire game are based on a capped 30 fps. This includes jumping, rolling, and other stuff.

Doubling it causes you to jump shorter distances as well.

Apparently many people are being banned by GFWL for using it, so keep that in mind.

Ahhh that sucks. I hadnt tried it out yet, but was thinking about it. Kind of glad I hadnt yet. Last I heard it just doubled the speed of everything, including enemies so figured I didnt want to make the game twice as hard :P
