It's called "Strain" and it's a little bit like a card battle game and a little bit like Munchkin...really hard to describe. You build a single-cellular organism using cytoplasm, organelles, etc and you launch attacks against other players using cytotoxins and viruses. The cool thing is: your cell is weakened by attacking or tapping the cell for ATP (basically mana). So when you attack or make bold moves you are opening yourself to counterattack.

It's a hell of a lot of fun even if you aren't into the biology stuff.

It's here on Amazon, but it's mad obscure: Strain: The Bioengineering Game

card battle game = cool.
Munchkin = very cool.

Does it have the humor of Munchkin? Either way, sounds like something that would be fun to do with the family when stuck inside because of nasty weather.

"Does it have the humor of Munchkin?"

It has no humor whatsoever, lol. In fact, the complete lack of humor is kind of funny to me in a way. Why the hell would anyone buy a game about bioengineering? That's actually why I even decided to post about it. It has exactly 1 review on Amazon and I felt like giving it a little exposure.

Never knew being a blood cell was so interesting, I'm envious of myself.

Are you a blood cell, Grinch? I never knew that about you. I hope you have an oxygen rich night!
