I know this is a stupid question for most people who regularly use the PS3, but I keep forgetting.

When do they do the updates, and do we know what games will possibly be in it yet?

It happens on the first update for every month and each update happens on a Tuesday so you can expect something to show up in the store in 2 days. As to what it will be, it's pretty strange Sony hasn't announced it.

I thought it was Tuesday, I just wanted to make sure, thanks! :D

I hope they have some good games up for the next couple months (since I'm sure they've been selling plenty of units).

They usually announce them the Monday before on psblog.

nd sometimes not till late on Tuesday, it's always a crapshoot as to when in the day the update is live.

There's a good chance for some good "free" games this time around. Last time was a Vita drop (including Gravity Rush which is flat out awesome), and I would imagine they will stick with that as a priority to entice future consumers to buy holiday Vita packages.

In Europe the "free" games games aren't hitting until the 19th or so.

Someone posted they were starting 12 days of christmas sales on PSN as of saturday but i did not notice anything different. I would also think they would list that under its own tab

Been playing Monster Blob, Tales from Space and that is a surprisingly fun game for the Vita as well.

the 12 Days of Christmas sales won't start until the next update I think - then each title will be offered at the discounted price for 48 hours, then something new will be offered ... I hope there are some games I've been wanting ... Unfinished Swan, R & C Future Quest for Booty .... guess I'll have to wait & see ... last Dec. was a good month for + perks - I'm thinking they will try harder this year, with the Vita on board now ...
