Like is there a news article which explains all the problems they have been having with it?

Specifically, lag issues.

I can't say that I have ever had such a horrible experience with a Call of Duty's multiplayer.

I've played 10 minutes of Call of Duty MP, and it was a horrible experience, but not because of lag or anything technical.

It's off an on, I suspect it was so bad on Saturday because of all the people on. There was close to a million people on at one point just on PS3. I quit playing altogether on Saturday because of the lag. Sunday I didn't have much issues, but it was still there.

I know what the problem is, it's because they don't have any set regions for their servers. I play with European players all the time, Latin American players, and all of their connections are garbage compared to mine. They need to put specific servers per region. Like in any other big MP game, set your region, don't worry about crappy host lagging.

For the last month or so it was actually pretty good, until this double XP weekend.

i had some lagg issues but nothing frequent to where i stopped playing. Maybe the 15 hours i have played, maybe 4 matches lagged on me.

I experienced more than the usual amount of lag on Halo 4 over the weekend.

Huh, can't say I had any problems over the weekend at all.... I've been playing hardcore capture lately though, so maybe different servers are handling different MP modes. Well, in either case, haven't really had any issues to speak of so far.

Hopefully they'll keep improving the service though, which is all we can hope for :)

It is so funny about this - I was complaining on this same thing the other day. I was watching a kill cam and from what I saw and what the kill cam showed were 2 completely different things. I died before I even turned the freaking corner.

You can't tell me that I lag with 30mb Comast! BS!

I find that a matches lag really bad at least twice during any 1 or 2 hour gaming session. I am talking about the match starts with everyone on 1 red bar and stays there half the match, then goes back to normal then goes back to 1 red bar a minute later.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 7:06:52 AM PST
Usually when they are 1 bar means they are still trying to connect and it resolves itself in a matter of seconds. I haven't seen when they are there there entire match. Wouldn't that mean a crappy host?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 7:09:57 AM PST
You would think that if that were the case, then shortly after the match starts, it would "migrate hosts", but no, the enitre match is played like this. I hate leaving matches because I don't want to get the stupid "probabation" thing, but when your entire team is quitting just because everyone has 1 red bar, it's hard to stick around.

Yeah the probation thing is ridiculous. How long are they usually? I got one and I didn't know it got it, but when I booted it up I had to wait 2 mintues.

I agree with this. Even with people with 2 (yellow) bars.

I don't think they last too long, but still a pain when its obviously not your fault that the match is unplayable.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 8:17:35 AM PST
Absolutely. I don't quit because I am wrecked. I quit because I have 1 red bar on 30mb internet and I chop all around the map.

I quit when there's lag. It just gets me pissed that they see me before I see them.

What system are you guys on? I'm playing on 360 and have had basically no issues.
