I originally wasn't interested in either of these games but that's only because I never researched them. After I did, I was amazed, both games are stunning!

I'm trying to limit myself on buying games til the PS4 comes out.

I know Dragon's Crown isn't out yet, but I heard Muramasa was pretty amazing.

So for those that would have to choose one or the other? MR or DC?

GarionOrb says:
I choose both, based purely on what I've seen of Dragon's Crown since I obviously haven't played it yet. But I can say that Muramasa Rebirth is phenomenal.

I can see that they both have different play styles.

Muramasa is a hack n slash style game, can't really think of a 2-D hack n slash game right now
Dragon's Crown looks to be a mix between Trine and Castle Crashers.

Muramasa reminds me of old NES/SNES action adventure games. It seriously reminds me of the best gaming times of that era.

I would go with Muramasa.

Dragon's Crown looks amazing but I can't really judge it properly with the game not being out yet. The game looks gorgeous but the story seems like it would be lacking to me.

Muramasa had wonderful graphics as well as fantastic music. The story was really good as well.

I haven't started Muramasa yet, but I know that as soon as Dragon's Crown releases that will be all I play for about 2 weeks.

Muramasa was a great game on the Wii, and apparently even better on Vita. And Dragon's Crown looks like one of the best beatemups ever.

As someone who enjoyed Muramasa, wait for Dragon's Crown. It'll have more depth and length to it.

Duh, he's from the future and has already played it!

Because I've been reading up on it and watching videos. Muramasa was incredibly simplistic.

It's a simple game, but it really doesn't need to be any more than it is. I think it's perfect the way it is and totally worth playing.

I could always just wait another month or so. I just really want a new game, and not much is coming out next month that interests me besides FFXIV (which I'll have to try before I buy), and Dragon's Crown. I have a coupon from Gamestop for buy two preowned, and get one free. So I suppose I could wait and hope that I find Dragon's Crown and Muramasa both used, then I could get a freebie. Of course, the chances of that happening are probably pretty slim.

I'm going to go with Dragon's Crown because... because... bewbs!!

I'd say wait. Already own Muramasa, and preordered Dragons Crown. Muramasa is good, but not totally great (had it for the Wii too). Just see what DC is like and then it will be an easier pick (hopefully!)

Give Dragon's Crown some serious consideration. Muramasa is fantastic, but its much smaller in scope than Dragon's Crown. As others have stated Dragon's Crown may be the best beat-em-up we will see in a long time.
