how can i loose weight when i cant move around cause of my health, like slipd disk in my back, and my feet and legs are swollen with fluid, astma, and more, i tried dieting but it dont work

i can barely stand for 2 mins without hurting really bad and collapse but i really want to loose weight, can someone help me out

Try first personal diet, it costs 200.00, you need to have blood work done first, but they actually do not recomend that you do any exercise at first.

Julie Ann, I am in a similar type situation. Severe Arthritis in both knees, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Extremely overweight caused by medications, lack of activity and fluid retention from Blood Pressure medication and other medications. With my doctor's help I have lost 40 pounds and 58 inches since June. Diet has been very basic, nothing canned, no sugar and very little starches but very balanced. Only sweetener has been Stevia or Xylitol. Exercise started with one of the small exercisers that looks like a set of bicycle pedals on a stable base, you sit in your chair and pedal like you are riding a bicycle. There is Zero stress on back and nothing weight bearing to the exercise, helps a lot with fluid retention. Also drinking lots of COLD water, try to keep it at 1/2 of your body weight in ounces a day. And finally Sea Salt instead of table salt. I know from experience that being considered "Obese" was humiliating for me, and a large part of it has been side effects of medication and being unable to exercise without severe pain, not what most people think because of what and how much I eat. There is no quick fix. May God bless you and guide you to a doctor to help you.

So I am not sure if you can take these tablets. But because of own curiosity I reasearched a little about Coffee Bean tables. Although they are safe for a normal person they may have some side effects for you. Consult doctor and start with small doses and see if it works for you!!!

Okay, you will hate my suggestion but here is is: The Blood Sugar Solution. I did this and feel great. All the pain you are suffering comes down to one thing: inflammation. My Dr. recommended The Blood Sugar Solution to me when I told her that I gained 40 lbs. in the last 2 years and that I suffered daily from sinus problems (severe face pain- I took Zertec-D twice a day and used an OTC nasal spray up to 10 times a day). I knew it would be a HUGE commitment but I was ready for a major change. I read the book, followed the plan and lost 20 lbs., and- the biggest improvement was that I completely stopped taking the sinus pills and only use the nasal spray twice a day. NO MORE FACE PAIN. Another thing- I was having pain in my arm (hand mostly) from using my electronic devices, I didn't even think about it until weeks later but, that pain is entirely gone now. I am not diabetic or even pre-diabetic, but now I live as though I am pre-diabetic; this diet reduced inflammation (sinus pain, arthritis, etc...). TRUST that your sugar cravings will go away, I think it took me three days. My husband wasn't interested in following the plan with me but because I do all the cooking, he kind of did- he noted that the food wasn't very different from what we normally ate; just with some small changes (like switching to brown rice instead of white after I finished the six week detox).

I highly recommend you give the six weeks a try. I had a mini meltdown during the 3rd week when I went to a Dodger game and didn't have a Dodger Dog but I I lived to tell the tale and so will you. Plus, you doctor will be so proud of you.

Atkins is made for people with multiple health problems and cannot exercise. you can lose 5-7 pounds the first week but it takes a lot of descipline. free, online help lots of support. its been studied over and over because it seems unhealthy but every study shows it lowers blood pressure, controls diabetes and I can guarantee you you will lose belly fat first. that was a big thing for me. went from an x lrg to med in two months. I modify the diet, am careful to eat healthy not just any protein and try to stay within thirteen hundred calories a day. atkins snack bars help alot but are expensive. good luck.

Julie, best advice is talk to doctor, get a blood test to see if you are deficient in anything and start small. Cutting out sugar and have an eating plan of low glycemic foods will make long term difference for anyone. For back/joint pain I had severe back pain and tried every pain specialist and the best thing I found was a type of strengthening from some doctors at Foundation Training (you can see their free videos online) and their book is only like $15 on amazon and the exercises were life changing for me fixing my lower back and giving me movement again.
