Has anyone tried the ACAI Berry diet? Has anyone experienced any health benefits from Acai berries?

If so what product do you use?

Yes! Both my mother and I are losing weight and feeling wonderful. I am backing a wonderful product Mona-vie!!! The #1 ingredient in Mona-vie is the acai berry. The product has had wonderful effects on all of the people that I have shared the product with from cholesterol, diabetes, pain management, inflamation to overall health. Great product!!

Sorry, but I don't buy it. I've struggled for years with weight issues, and the one thing I've learned is that there are no magic bullets. You have to change your relationship with food and eating, and unless you do, you will fail again and again. Take it from one who's been there.

This is not to say that Acai isn't great stuff. In fact, I just bought some in powdered form to add to my smoothies. But as I said, there is no miracle cure out there. I have no doubt there are people who have lost weight with this stuff. But will they still have the weight off 2 or 3 years from now? Or, having regained the weight they lost, will they go in search of yet another magic bullet?

I've read that Mona-vie, an MLM product, is quite expensive. Save your money.

Sorry to hear that! The good thing is that I started taking Mona-vie in the hope that it would help my migraines, aches and pains, allergies and give me more energy and as a perk I have already lost pounds in only two months as a perk as well as helped with everything I wanted it to!! Mona-vie gives your body the antioxidant capacity of approximately 13 servings of fruits and vegetables in just four ounces. Who could beat it?

Where's waldo,

I just bought some acai berry powder. How much do you take a day?

Sorry I cannot speak of that product that you bought but I will tell you that it does not compare to Monavie products. The problem is Monavie has the only fool proofed way to get all of the nutrients to the US from Brazil. Here's how........Through an exclusive freeze-drying process, MonaVie is able to capture the vital nutrients found in this delicate fruit. MonaVie's freeze-dried açai powder boasts an ORAC score (a measure of antioxidant power) higher than any other fruit or vegetable tested to date, on a gram-for-gram basis. With flash pasteurization, the product is heated for approximately 15-30 seconds and then immediately cooled. By only briefly subjecting the product to high temperatures, most-if not all-taste and color changes are avoided. Flash pasteurization is preferred to other methods because it kills microbes without destroying beneficial phytonutrients. So, what you are taking does not have all of the nutrients I speak of. Good luck, though!!

Monavie suggested serving is 2 oz twice a day of the Monavie juice.
