Irish Lass says:
As a matter of fact, it does. I lost 80 lbs using it 2x a day (breakfast & lunch) as a shake or bar. Do realize though that it can be very expensive over the long run. Your best bet would be to try and become a Supervisor - big investment, but you get your supplies at a huge discount. Also note - once you achieved your goals, you really should stay on it to "maintain" your weight loss. I got really really tired of shakes and bars after a year and went off completely. I did keep the weight off for several years though.

Good luck to you.

Hi--take my advice and don't diet--diets don't work!! I dieted (and I mean EVERY diet) for 40 years and it's just a "temporary" fix! I starved and gained the weight right back and more besides as soon as I stopped. It wasn't until I decided to STOP dieting and START focusing on a adopting a healthy LIFESTYLE that I got results and didn't have to starve to do it. When you "diet" you mess up your metabolism. You become chained to the scale and a "number" decides whether you are worthy to live!! A simple 2 lb increase due to temporary water retention or muscle gain and you're "worthless"--RIGHT? You lose for a while and then your body either plateaus and you have to starve yourself more--what vicious cycle! STOP THE MADNESS!! It's all about portion control and regular exercise to keep your metabolism working! Try the Leslie Sansone tapes and several small meals, including snacks & desserts sometimes (watch your portions), spaced throughout the day and take the stairs. Now this works! Also, watching the fit of your clothes is more motivating than watching the scale. She helped me go down 14 sizes in 2 years! I'm no longer a "number" like a prisoner!! I'm a slim, fit person!

Herbalife works wonders to trim down the size and weight of your wallet, while fattening the bank accounts of Herbalife executives.

Those who get scammed into becoming resellers of course will try to perpetuate the myth as they all have massive stockpiles of the junk they're forced to buy and can't get rid of unless they spam forums like these (and your mailbox) with the company message of magical results.

Herbalife really really does work. I have been on it since September 2011 and now as of today I have lost 25 pounds. My plan is to lose 25 more. If you're interested and want to lose more then 10 pounds I recommend starting on one of the programs. There are three designed to work together. Quickstart, Advanced and Ultimate. I use the Advanced program. If you are interested here is the website.

Good luck

It's very expensive and it doesn't work trust me.

The best thing you can do is eat in moderation. Eat lesser amounts than you normally would. Take for instance the amount of food that you normally would put on your plate to eat, instead of eating all of it, eat only half of it. Also foods like fried foods, that are unhealthy should be eaten only occasionally instead of every day.

A good book on moderation if you're interested is The Last Diet Book You'll Ever Need: How To Eat Whatever You Want and Still Lose Weight

All these programs are scams, really. You can't drink your way to good health if you think that you can simply drink your way to good health. If you want to lose weight and be healthy, then change your attitude first, and you will naturally change your behaviors, and suddenly find yourself wanting healthier relationships and a healthier lifestyle.

I had gastric bypass in 2008 and the resulting ulcer nearly killed me and I didn't eat solid food for nearly 2 years. I lost 165 lbs in less than a year. To survive I had to overcome every fear and every lie about good health and I learned that it's not what you eat, it's what's eating you. If you want to hear my story and learn how I managed to not only survive but thrive without dieting or exercising like a hamster on a treadmill, you may find me at facebook as Dana Marie Cain.

There is a lady here at work, she looks wonderful and lost about 40 pounds on this program.. She is not a reseller, neither am I but I was also interested in knowing if the program works and it sure worked for the lady here at my company. You really can't say it does not work unless you try it I guess.. Just my .02 cents since I saw everyone saying it does not work and have seen for myself it surely does..

"Work" for what? Reducing one's wallet to no useful end? It's almost guaranteed to do that.

Posted on Feb 21, 2012 8:36:01 AM PST
T. Farmer says:
As far as reducing your wallet goes, Average cost for an advanced program is $155.00 per month. You are replacing two meals a day! Example: Your breakfast and lunch for an entire month only cost you $155.00!! I hardly feel like that is expensive.

Yes it works. I have been on it for 1 month and have lost 12 pounds. I am not a seller or will not gain by giving you MY answer to your question. I have family members that started the program before I did and that's what motivated me to give it a go.

It's funny that all the people who say it "REALLY WORKS" are actually selling Herbalife and then send their website and e-mail address. If that doesn't show you that it is a scam, you are completely ignorant.

You nailed it ... I wish more women could read your post because you have succinctly exactly explained how to lose weight and keep it off for life.

Congratulations on getting to where you are right now... through sensible eating and exercise.

I, like you have been on every diet ever created - and I failed on all of them because it was impossible to maintain. Life would get in the way, and ooopseey - there goes my diet!!!

But with what you explain above, I too was able to lose all the weight I needed and i didn't diet. I found a way to eat that was natural, always kept be full, and managed to kick all my food cravings to the curb.

I wrote a book about it in the hope that I might help just one person get off the dieting merry-go-round.

Thank you for sharing ... and congratulations again on no longer being a "number." : )

I have a dream that one day women across the world will stand up and say NO MORE to the diet industry and finally GET that they can do this all by themselves without the need of diet gimmicks & gadgets.

Stay fabulous!
