I am looking at purchasing just dance greatest hits from amazon. I live in Australia and have the original wii console. Would games purchased from the US suit my console or do I have to look at purchasing for a particular region? Look forward to hearing about this...thanks

Wii games are region-coded, so you'd need to get the correct one for your Wii. Is yours PAL?

Yes, I think my wii is PAL. What does this mean and do I have to make sure any game I purchase is suitable to PAL? How will I know?
Thanks

PAL is the coding for Europe, Australia, and a few other places. The rating system (PEGI) looks different from the Usa version. it shows acceptable age minimums (e.g. 12+) rather than letter codes (e.g. T or M) .

Technically it is possible to remove the region lock if you're willing to violate nintendo's terms of service, void your warranty, and put in some effort.
