I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand your question. The seller said what is not compatible with what? Are you trying to play Wii U games on a Wii or something?

The early models of the Wii were fully backward-compatible with GameCube games, but the newer (redesigned) Wii systems are not. In some cases you can tell by the color of the system, but the easiest and most consistent way to determine backward compatibility is by the direction of the Wii label on the front of the system. If the word "Wii" reads correctly (left to right) when the system is in a vertical position, it's the older model, which is backward compatible. If the word "Wii" reads correctly when the system is in a horizontal position, it's the newer model, which is not backward compatible. Alternatively, you can always check the model number.
