Did you try blowing on the discs before putting them in the Wii? I had similiar issues when I was trying to get God of War 3 to play on my Wii, but after blowing on the disc a few times it booted right up. The people at Gamestop or Best Buy will try to sell you this 300 dollar system they claim you "have to have" to get these games to play, but they are just trying to rip you off.

I blew on the discs and dismantled the console. I don't get it, it just doesn't want to read discs. I'm taking this junk back to Costco today.

You just need to clean all of your disks. A coarse-grained sandpaper works best for me. Use that on all of your game disks, and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it one more time, if it doesn't work, I'm taking it back though.

Hmmm, did you have someone else blow on the discs, or did you blow yourself?

Update: I sanded the back of the discs so they were silky smooth, but still a no go. I returned all the games and broken Wii to Costco. I'm never buying a Microsoft product again.

"I am never buying a Microsoft product again". He is obviously not as dumb as he sounds.
