Guin, these look like good suggestions. I'll check them out, and add them to my page.

Guin Nance says:
For those of you who like women with spiritual depth who know their own minds but still have the curiosity and openness to embrace all sorts of daily adventures, I suggest the Mildred Budge series by Daphne Simpkins. The first novel, Cloverdale, finds Mildred getting hoodwinked by a preacher poseur and rescuing a child who is a slow learner from his isolation. The second, Embankment, has Mildred testing her physical and spiritual strength as she and her Pulpit Committee cohorts on a road trip wind up in a ravine and are pitted against the elements and each other. Both quick reads, these novels blend sharp insight and comic moments with a base note of spiritual profundity. Mildred is good company.

Thank you all for the suggestions for 50+ books. I love to read but sometimes get tired of teeny boppers and want something that pertains to my age groups.

Ladies, thank you so much for discussing this subject. It seems that many people think that once you pass 50 you loose interest in sex. Actually, i have found that for the ladies I know their interest is at its peak during those years. I can't say my interest has peaked, but it certainly has not gone down. And one tends to have so much more time to devote to it at that age. Or we make time. Anyone else have any thoughts about that?

Sounds perfect! Thanks. I'll check it out. If it rings my bells I'll add it to my little collection of midlife fiction at AnyShinyThing dot com. (Have to say it like that or Amazon deletes the link!)
