"$60 movie" is a common troll reference to PS3 exclusives due primarily to the existence of cinematically focused titles like Heavy Rain and cutscene-heavy titles like MGS4, though also thanks to the perceived focus on movie-like spectacle that titles like the Uncharted series revolve around.
And those highly anticipated games you mention cost precisely $59.99 plus tax plus shipping (if you're shipping it), just like virtually every other game that gets a physical release on either HD console. That's more than just "getting close to $60," I'd say.
Most physically released Wii games and PC games, however, cost $49.99 (plus tax plus shipping) MSRP upon initial release; most physically released DS games cost between $24.99 and $34.99 MSRP; most physically released PSP, 3DS, and Vita games cost between $29.99 and $39.99 MSRP. Your claim, therefore, that "When it comes to new games the price is same or very close no matter what system you are buying it for," is quite clearly untrue.
