I have read so much that now it seems I cant find anything I'm interested in :( I switched from YA to paranormal romance and stuck there too! I haven't read many YA books lately so I figured I would try again with YA! I dislike time travel, love triangles, historical, reincarnation, futuristic, alien, yes I'm a picky reader. I love romance books, urban fantasy, shifter books!

Prince of Wolves series-Quinn Loftis
Significant series
Morganville Vamps
Chicagoland Vamps(not YA)
Mythos Academy
Elemental Assassin (not YA)
The Darkest Powers
Saving Angels series
Grace series
Vampire Academy
Bound series
Valkyrie series
Immortal Souls series
Hex Hall
Essence of Ra series
Pure series

House of Night series (loved up until she had like 5 guys)
Mortal Instruments
That fairy series I can never remember :\ LOL
Shiver series
Too many to name

I would prefer paranormal YA romance. I love a snarky, sarcastic female lead as in Prince of Wolves series. I wont mind if its YA or not just figured I would add to my YA collection. Also please ebooks I have no more room for paper/hardback books :) Any help would be appreciated!!

If you liked Vampire Academy, you will probably enjoy Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. It's a spin-off series from VA, and it includes old characters from VA too. Sydney, the alchemist from Blood Promise, Spirit Bound and Last Sacrifice is the narrator, and honestly, she is such an anti-Rose, but she if fantastic. As for snarky sarcastic love interests, well, there's Adrian, also from VA, and he is better than ever.

If you haven't read them already, then you should consider it, they are truly shaping up to be one of the best YA series out there!

Thanks I haven't tried that yet! I loved VA!

If you like paranormal books you should try one of my favorite authors Lawrence Kelter and his book Palindrome.
Here's a quick intro to the book i found online for you: It's a hot summer night on Long Island. The Suds Shack is packed-lots of kids partying at a bar. Among the crowd is a girl, who is different from anyone else. A guy on the prowl-plop goes the pill into her drink. Her world spins out of control. He thought he had her, now he's dead, and she's coming for his accomplice. The poor sap picked the wrong girl to mess with. She can look like you or me, or anyone else she choses to become. Lexa and her brother, Ax are siblings with that little something extra, an extraordinary gift.
In Book One they find themselves entangled in a web of murder, drugs, and manipulation.
Palindrome (The Palindrome Trilogy)

Kiersten White is also a good author for this genre.

Try Finding Sky and Stealing Phoenix. Joss Stirling has another coming out at the end of the year. Each book has a new feisty heroine who gets involved with this paranormal family of brothers.

Mrs.A. V. I would love to read Finding Sky but it isn't avaliable for kindle :( I will keep checking though for when it does become avaliable :)

Try Unleashed (Wolf Spring Chronicles) by Nancy Holden. I loved it. It's available as an ebook too.

I like Jennifer Armintrout's books too. Obsidian lux was a great read. I am reading the Demon's Lexicon. I just finished Dark Kiss. It is YA - about angels and demons and is the first in a trilogy. Held my attention.
However, "His Fair Assassin" was amazing, I believe it will be a series. I loved the time period and it was in France. I used to be a French teacher.

I will have to try Obsidian! And I will look into Dark Kiss

If you like snark, then you will definitely like the Charley Davidson series. The first book is First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, Book 1) (non-YA though). If you'd like more adult series, I've got tons, but since you asked for YA, I'll stick with that.

Pretty much anything by Maria Snyder. Her Study series is excellent. The first book in that series is Poison Study. She also just released the first book in a new series called Touch of Power (Healer), which I thought was outstanding.

I'm not sure if it meets your requirements, but I just finished Grave Mercy: His Fair Assassin, Book I (His Fair Assassin Trilogy) and thought it was really good. It's about 15th century assassin nuns. I know, right? Think of it as a PG Gin Blanco, with a little more political intrigue.

I've also read some contemporary YA romance that I thought was good: The Fault in Our Stars is honestly one of the best books I've ever read. Tearjerker alert, though. I also really liked The DUFF: (Designated Ugly Fat Friend), Anna and the French Kiss, and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.

I just started a fun series, the first book is called Darkness before Dawn by J.A. London, so far so good, granted, I'm only one chapter in (if you want to read the first two chapters, go to Barnes and for a preview) and loooove it.

I just finished a cute YA novel Enchanted. Its basically a bunch of fairytales mashed together. It was unique and a cute read :)

I second Darkness before Dawn, I thought it was excellent. What a creepy society. Loved the plot, everything.

I think the Dark Forgotten by Sharon Ashwood is missing from your list.

Was darkness before dawn good? Because the blurb doesn't sound that great.

Thanks lara!

I read and liked The Hunt. It's about a human living among vampires. You may want to try it.

I'm on the fence with vampire stories. I have read so many that they seem predictable to me. I might read the first free chapters and get a feel for it!
