Can you tell us a bit more about what types of books you like? Or which ones you've already read and enjoyed? That will help us make better recommendations for you.

Generally speaking, the Harry Potter and Hunger Games series are tops, IMO. But they're also pretty popular so you may have read them already.

I also enjoyed:
- the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore
- The Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan (well ok I haven't read book 3 yet...)
- Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie (standalone)

That's just a start!

Have you tried The Ranger's Apprentice, Percy Jackson, or Alex Rider? All guy books.

It would really help if you maybe told us your age and if you a boy or a girl:)

If you a boy you might like graceling or divergent

If you a girl you might like:
I second graceling, though i have not read the other two.
If your a younger teen(maybe 12-15) ally carters Heist Society is great
Divergent is awesome! Insergent (the sequal) is ok
If you like romance, delerium is a cute dysatopia romance although i wasnt fond of the sequal.

Have you read anything by Scott Westerfeld? I liked Peeps and Leviathan. Haven't read the Uglies series but I've heard its very good.

If you like ghost stories (this one is gory) there's Anna Dressed in Blood.

The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner is very good, if you liked The Hunger Games books. I'm reading Wool by Hugh Howey right now, so far it's pretty good.

Ooooooh, you definitely have to read Incarceron by Catherine Fisher. It is a great read!

I like Percy Jackson, kindof, I just don't really like the way the author writes. To me, it just doesn't seem like there's enough writing skills.
