Product Description

gDiapers Disposable Inserts

gDiapers are resuable diaper covers with disposable inserts that you flush, compost (wet ones only, please) or toss. Use gDiapers Disposable Inserts inside gPants, reusable diaper covers.

How to use gDiapers:

  1. Pick a gPant. Any color will do.
  2. Tuck in an insert
  3. Close tabs around the back

What you need to use gDiapers

All you need to use gDiapers are gPants and Inserts. If your baby is on the way, the Newborn Bundle has just what you need to get going with gDiapers for a brand new baby. If your baby is already here and bigger than the newborn size, we recommend 6-8 gPants in each size. gDiapers, like any diaper, need to be changed every 2-3 hours (or sooner, if using cloth inserts). The Disposable Inserts are great for babies with sensitive skin who may be prone to rash in other diaper options.

Care and Contents

Disposable Inserts are made of cellulose, fluff pulp and super absorber. They can be flushed, composted (wet ones only) or tossed.

This is THE best insert when you need overnight protection.
L. R. Bowles
No idea how they fit in any diaper, disposable or not, for smaller than a big toddler.
Kate Aishton
That's still unused waste that's just getting added to the environment.

This is THE best insert when you need overnight protection. Despite using cloth doublers, hemp liners and a microfleece insert, my heavy wetter still soaks through her diaper. This gdiaper refill to the rescue. It keeps her dry all night long and I can just toss it in the toilet in the morning.

nice idea if you change your baby close to the toilet, where the pads need to be flushed. also, the pads leak into the diaper, and it is gross (and a pain) to clean them. the plastic liner became stained after the first soiling. glad that these work for some folks!

We switched to GDiapers because we did not like the idea of creating mounds and mounds of baby waste garbage for landfills. GDiapers are kind of a pain especially when you are trying to change a popp diaper and your baby has soiled the diaper, the liner AND the insert. Unless you have enough diapers make sure to keep some disposables around as backups. We have 3 and that is definitely not enough. So while the cost is close to disposables (if you shop around for a good price) the cost of having to buy 10-15 of the actual GDiapers over the life of your baby 5 Small, 5 Medium, and 5 large, you stand to spend at least $300 more over the life of your child in diapers.

Great fitting inserts for Tiny Pants and small gPants.

Holds much much more than the small gCloth, more than two even. It will even hold more than the CBIs that I use routinely now.

I find that if we are going on a long trip, where the kids will be sitting in car seats for a long period of time, or if we are traveling away from home and we don't want to deal with laundry these are great. I LOVE that we can flush them instead of throwing them in the garbage!

My only complaint is that they STINK so much than cloth. Poops smell SOO much worse. Even if my wife does not tell me I can ALWAYS tell when we are using flushies vs cloth! Also, I'm a fan of how CHEAP cloth is vs the flushies so I will always prefer the cloth as they cost less :)

I was thinking of buying these disposable inserts for the G Diaper covers that we own....until I compared the price with seventh generation non-chlorinated natural diapers! You get twice as many 'expensive' disposables as you get g diaper disposable inserts. Unless you are rich enough to pay twice as much for diapers (for the sake of the environment, since disposable diapers to not biodegrade ) then I would stick to the natural version of disposable diapers.

So in conclusion, I will still probably be using the cloth inserts with the G diapers, but for going out or when I need something quick and easy I will have a batch of normal disposables at hand and not these inserts.

purchased as refill for our newborn starter kit. We used g-diapers for our newborn until she fit into the one size fits all pocket diapers.I also used them as a "going out" diaper the first few months because of the disposable factor. worked well for urine but I had issues with leaks on the g-diaper covers for poop but if you pack a couple extra covers you will be fine. The pad itself is very absorbant and holds up well no falling apart during wear or changes.

We used traditional diapers with our first two boys but switched to gDiapers with our third. Very few leaks and no diaper rash to date. Love the smaller footprint we are leaving on the planet with less waste going to the landfill

The gDiapers are great. Our baby blew out of the pampers disposal about every third time we put her in them. The gDiapers are going strong with no issues. Quick and easy. We love them and so does the baby.
