this ghd is a fake!
i figured out that if it is pink with black plates that it is a fake. It is dangerous to use fakes because, they have no fuse, which can cause them to blow up. Onace again,

When i was placing this order, it was out of stock. I found it was sold by [...], but fulfilled by amazon. I was hesitating cuz I couldn't even find this GHD styler on that website. Well, "fulfilled by amazon" gives me a little hope. Since I owned the same styler (and later gave it to my sister as a gift), i can tell whether it's a fake one. Today, the package came in. It is FAKE!!! The package looks the same, but the styler is definitely not the same. It doesn't have a hologram code, nor does it have a date code. ([...]) The heat protection does not work either. It is dangerous. I immediately requested a return. Well, GHD has great product, if it is authentic, i would definitely have rate it with 5 star. I gave it only one star cuz the one i received is fake. Hope this helps.

Bought this straightener because I had used the uk version back home and needed a new one now that I am in the US. The US GHD is just as good as the uk one which puts it way above other straighteners, yeah its expensive but it really is worth it, it takes about half the time to straighten your hair and the result is much smoother. just buy it!
