goJapanese: Learn to Speak and Understand Japanese with Pimsleur Language Programs (Simon & Schuster's Pimsleur)

I purchased both Pimsleur's GoChinese and GoJapanese for the library where I work and patrons discovered that BOTH audio books contained defective cds.

In each case, the cds were recorded with the exact same introductory lesson on each cd, despite the fact that the labels indicated each cd would progress to a new lesson. I contacted Pimsleur through their website (they must know about the problem since they have a special form "to report a defective item") to complain about the product and ask for a replacement. So far, five days later, I've had no response.

PS: Because this was ordered on the library's main account, we didn't order it from Amazon - not that how we got it has anything to do with the problem.

Ironically, the two patrons who alerted me to the problem said the book and exercises were actually very good and both asked to be notified if we ever get a replacement that works.
