Product Description
[ALT TEXT HERE]

Going Nuts is a fun game for Android that involves navigating a cute flying squirrel through dense forests while gathering acorns. Enjoy power-ups, upgrades, exciting 3D graphics, OpenFeint achievements, and much more.

Go the Distance

As you fly though lush trees, burnt forests, and other landscapes, avoid colliding with trees and be sure to watch out for owls, bad nuts, and TNT tied to balloons. After each flight, see how far you flew and how many acorns you gathered. Level up and gain rewards by completing goals like collecting 50 nuts total or flying 1,000 meters in one try. You can also smash through obstacles with helmets or dress up as a classic stunt-person.

Grab some extra gear and get outfitted at the Shop

After you've collected a stash of nuts, you might want to visit the Shop where you can buy power-ups, upgrades, and outfits. Get a Crash Helmet that allows you to survive one collision with a tree, a Magnet that pulls acorns toward you, or a Head Start that gives you a big flying boost. These and other goodies will set you back a few hundred or thousand acorns.

If you're in the market for some new duds, you'll be happy to know that the Shop offers an assortment of squirrel outfits, from Stuntman and Hot Rod to Skeleton and Flower Power. You can also check out your stats to find out how many acorns you grabbed, your longest flight, and the details of all your deaths.

Go Nuts

If you feel like flying all out, look into the various fun achievements available, including collecting 1,000 frozen nuts to achieve the Winter Coat, hitting 10 owls for the Avian Flu, and flying 200 meters without collecting a single nut to earn the Allergic to Nuts achievement. Show off with OpenFeint leaderboards and have fun Going Nuts!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sometimes The Worst Things In Life Are Free! February 17, 2012
Ok 1st to all those condescending reviewers:
I am NOT illiterate & I did read the instructions....& ummm, guess what?
You CANNOT OPT OUT of OpenFeint!!!

A note to the developers here, there's actually a small, minuscule group of us out here that DO NOT WANT to share everything we do with a social networking site.
And here's the kicker...believe it or not, we still actually want to "Have Fun"!
**and to developers: please stop having ur family & friends stop writing & submitting all ur 5 star reviews here. It's just sad.

If this app paid me to install it, I wouldn't have.
Can I give this a Negative Star Rating??

1.0 out of 5 stars alright game February 23, 2012

Bad review because every time I open it, it ask me to rate it, there isn't a permanent ignore button. I pay money for apps because I don't want to be annoyed by the ads and expect paid apps not to advertise even for their own product

2.0 out of 5 stars Keeps flipping the screen upside down December 4, 2012
By Britt

This game would definitely be fun, but I'm on the Kindle Fire HD and the screen flips upside down before the game play starts. If I flip it around after it flips itself, it flips the screen back the other way. How do I fix this?

1.0 out of 5 stars Automatically Connects to OpenFeint February 17, 2012
Verified Purchase
The game is okay, but it automatically connects to OpenFeint. Every other game I've played that uses OpenFeint will ask your permission to connect, which I always decline. I am upset that this developer automatically gives Openfeint access to my device without my consent. If you are concerned about the intrusiveness and security of Openfeint, and if you believe that developers should ask for your permission before connecting you to a 3rd party, do not install this app.

1.0 out of 5 stars Requires connection to allow Open Fent Data Mine December 10, 2012
Verified Purchase
This is a cute game I used to enjoy by turning off the Kindle Fire's WiFi. After all, no wi-fi, no Open Feint data mining. However a recent update removed this opportunity. Now, the game will not load unless connected to the internet.

OBVIOUS DATA MINER! Open Feint is hidden within the program so you cannot simply turn it off. If you try to remove the Open Feint account on your device, it automatically creates a new one.

AVOID!
