Life-Changing Book!, May 16, 2006
This review is from: The goodness of God (Tyndale Paperbacks) (Paperback)
This book has helped me to develop my own convictions on topics which are uncomfortable and easy to ignore (i.e. judgment, curses, politics, ethics) It is a fantastic book and I highly recommend it!

Clear Exposition, November 7, 2010
This review is from: The goodness of God (Tyndale Paperbacks) (Paperback)
This book is heavy on scripture references, and Wenham does not shy away from the "difficult" portions of the Bible. Matter of fact, he embraces them, and urges us to embrace them for the same reasons he does! He masterfully shows how God works man's evil into his own good, how the Bible's apparently "archaic" and "barbaric" ways of dealing with things are actually very good indeed. Please don't take my word for it; read the book.
