Product Substitutions
There may be times when a particular basket style or food ingredient is temporarily unavailable. To ship your gift quickly and efficiently, we will substitute the item with like or better products, maintaining both the style and the high quality of your gift selection.

Shipping Chocolates In Warm Weather
We want your lucky gift recipient to receive a gorgeous gourmet gift basket, not a lump of melted chocolate! In warm weather, delicate chocolate items that are susceptible to heat damage will be substituted with high quality candy that will not melt during transit. Please contact us directly to inquire about shipping chocolates with cold packs.

All Of Our Food Products Are Shelf Stable
All meat, cheese, dairy and seafood products are specially prepared and preserved to maintain their quality and freshness without refrigeration until opened. However, we do advise that all consumables are eaten within 4 weeks of delivery to ensure each product is at its peak of freshness.

    Is there a time limit?
    While our gifts are shelf-stable for several weeks, we do ask that requests for a return, exchange or refund be placed within ten days of the original items being delivered to the recipient.

    How do I get my refund?
    The returned merchandise will be credited to your Amazon account directly through the Amazon payment system. An email will be automatically generated as a receipt for the credit/refund, and sent to the email address linked to your Amazon account.

    Please note that in most cases, refunds are given only for the returned merchandise. Art of Appreciation will retain all shipping and handling charges in order to cover those costs.

    Gift Messages

    Forget to add a gift card message?  We realize this may easily happen during the check out process and have a dedicated customer care team available to assist you 9am - 5pm Pacific (West Coast) Monday - Friday.  If it is after business hours, simply email us your gift card message to through the Amazon provided email links.  Please include your order number so we can locate your order as quickly and efficiently as possible.

    If your gift has already shipped, don't worry!  We automatically include "A Special Gift For You From (Buyers Name)" if no message is specified on the order.  We want your lucky gift recipient to know who to thank for the lovely gift they received.

     

    Gift Wrapping

    Each gift basket is wrapped in either gift basket cello packaging or shrink wrapped to ensure a beautiful presentation when your lucky gift recipient opens their package. Gift wrapping is not necessary, as each gift is beautifully finished with a lovely bow.  Complimentary gift cards are provided with your gift and are usually located on the outside of the box under "A Special Gift For You" plastic sleeve.  Recipients simply open the plastic sleeve to reveal the personal message from you.
