You’ll have the information you need to get your product repaired or replaced in one streamlined step. We suggest printing one copy to be filed away for safe keeping. 2)  What are the benefits of a Canopy Protection Plan?*

Answer: Many new products come with an original manufacturer’s warranty that covers product failure from defects in materials and workmanship. But those warranties only protect your product for a set period of time. After that, if your product fails, you’re on your own.

Your product will be professionally repaired by one of our 35,000 authorized service technicians so you can get back to enjoying your product. If your product can’t be fixed, we will issue you a check or an Amazon.com Gift Card for the full purchase price in as little as 24 hours. Use the check or Amazon.com Gift Card to purchase the same product or a newer model.

 

7) Is my Canopy Protection Plan transferable?

Answer: Of course. Should you ever want to sell your product or give it as a gift, your Canopy Protection Plan will protect that product for the entire term of the plan.

 

8) Is my Canopy Protection Plan renewable?
Answer:

    Asurion, LLC Tax Information

    The taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes, and will be calculated when your order is shipped. Orders shipped to Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina (Only if sold at the same time as the purchase of the covered property. If sold by a third-party at a later date, it is not charged a sales tax.), South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia (Tax based on one-half cost of warranty), West Virginia, Wisconsin will have all applicable local and state sales taxes added to your total order, and to your shipping charges where appropriate.

    To be clear, the Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA), which was signed into law on October 21, 1998, does not, as some have asserted, preclude sales and use taxes on any and all commerce conducted over the Internet. State and local governments are allowed to impose sales and use taxes on all such electronic sales, provided that the tax (and its rate) are the same as that which would be imposed on the transactions if they were conducted in a more traditional manner, such as over the phone or through mail order.

    Currently, most e-commerce companies use the same taxation rules used by mail-order companies, which are based on constitutional guidelines for interstate commerce. Generally this means that states can only require companies to collect sales tax in states where they have business operations, and as a result, a company will not collect sales tax in states where they have no business operations.     Returns and Refunds

    For refunds, cancellations, or to return an item to our company, please contact Canopy Protection by e-mail at service(at)canopyprotection.com.  Include in the email the following information:

    • Your name
    • Your phone number
    • That you want to return a plan you purchased on Amazon.com
    • The date you purchased the plan
    • The Amazon.com order confirmation number (you can find this in the order confirmation email)

    All refunds will be processed in full if returned within 30 days of the original order date. The refund will be applied to the credit card used during original purchase.
