Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes! International customers with shipping addresses from countries that Amazon.com accepts payments from may order normally; just place the item in you cart as you would any other order. (Note: we do not ship to Brazil, Mexico or South Africa due to a high incidence of lost packages or extreme customs delays, sorry).

Q: Do you have a store/allow local pickup?

A: We do not - our insurance policy explicitly prohibits customers onsite; if a giant stack of CDs were to fall on you, we would not be covered.

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: We normally ship within two business days after we receive your order. All orders ship USPS first class or Priority Mail, according to weight (Air Mail if international). USA customers may expect to receive an order 2-7 days after placing it. International orders will arrive in customs 4-7 days after the order is placed, after which delivery depends on your country's customs and mail service.

    Gone Gold! Shipping Policies

    Everything ships via the U.S. Postal Service, so please provide your postal address; giving an address that cannot accept postal mail will result in a scary, strange man calling you for a correction; if he cannot reach you, your order will be cancelled. Orders normally depart within 2 business days, M-F, and we try to ship on Saturdays (especially our Expedited orders) whenever possible. If there will be a significant delay, we will contact you via your Amazon.com registered email address, so please be sure your Amazon.com email and phone number are current.

    All boxed games ship in boxes, not bubble mailers. We want you to receive your game just as it was when we mailed it, and do not skimp on shipping supplies at your expense!

    INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: you will normally not be charged import or duty fees for your order, with the rare exception of large orders of multiple games.

    We're a small company of geeky men. We don't offer gift wrapping / messaging services as a matter of course, though if you ask nicely, we'll be happy to oblige. Please specify if you want Saran Wrap or butcher paper (just kidding).

    Here at Gone GOLD, we specialize in making "broken" games compatible.

    We have DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista (32 and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) and Windows 8 computers (32 and 64-bit) with various video cards (integrated Intel, Intel HD, AMD, nVidia) on-site, and do extensive compatibility testing of classic PC games every week.

    If a game requires adjusting to make it compatible, we include everything you need to make it work in simple, plain English.

    If a game can't be made to run in at least Windows XP, we don't sell it, period.

    Because we do all this testing, and have multiple computers on-site, we think our technical support is a step above the crowd. We generally have extra copies of our most popular games, and rather than emailing generic instructions like "try compatibility mode", we actually install the game on our computer that most closely matches yours, duplicate your problem, and then offer the appropriate solution.

    In the rare case that we promise compatibility and can't get the game working on your computer, we take it back and refund you in full. As easy as that. We do this because we want you as a return customer who is confident in getting a working game when you buy from us.
