Adjust for the actual size in MB for the photos you are posting. Of course you could reduce the size of each photo to say 100 KB each from a photo editor in Windows since they are not going to be printed and that size would be very sufficient for display on the Nixplay which would then up your count to 100,000 photos you could store.

Yup, it's pretty cool. Once you have it set up, you can indeed control it remotely. I'm not sure if you can turn it off and on remotely since I haven't tried yet, but you can change everything else you mentioned remotely.
