A decent pinball game, but nothing more

As a pinball game, it's decent enough. It's fun, and the core gameplay is very addictive, as the layout of the stage changes in response to your actions. However, the ball physics are sometime a little strange, and you may find yourself having to tilt just to get out of a place where you were stuck. Still, there is a little bit of variety in that you're not merely confined to the table; you can actually get launched into little mini-stages beyond the main play area.
But, this DLC sort of runs into a problem. Chances are that if you're the type of person who likes to play virtual pinball, you've already played much better pinball games than this, and there's really no reason for you to play. On the other hand, if you don't like pinball to begin with, there's nothing for you here. The DLC's status as a pre-order bonus is fairly evident once you see how little incentive there is to purchase this content after having beaten the game.
Unfortunately, there is no real objective in the game other than to go for a high score, and the minigame has absolutely zero impact on the rest of the game. There are no rewards to be earned from playing it, and there aren't even online leaderboards to my knowledge. You're literally paying for a completely isolated minigame that has no connection to any levels you may have enjoyed in Sonic Generations.
The DLC is cheap, but just know what you're getting. You're paying for a satisfactory minigame, and nothing more. If you're hoping for new platforming stages based on the classic Casino Nights zones, you'll have to keep waiting.

Entertaining, but not a whole lot to do.

This DLC is pretty neat, but after a while, it gets sort of boring. It kills time at least. Too bad there's nothing collect or anything. (Like the Red Star Rings)

I thought this download would be a high def version of the classic Sonic 2 Casino Night level design. I was mistaken and found it was actually just a pinball game with elements from the level. For a couple of bucks it's okay.

I don't think this is something you need, especially as you can still find sonic spinball, but it's still fun, and worth a few bucks if it goes on sale.

Its not much but it reminded me of Sonic adventure on the dreamcast. Overall not really worth the money. Id rather they put out character dlc or maybe more levels.
