The police, love or hate them, are a necessary element of any civilized society. Try to imagine, if you will, all police in the United States disappearing overnight. How long do you think it would take for complete chaos to reign?
I, the author of Dreams In Blue "The Real Police" invite you to ride with me as an invisible partner while you read my police adventures. Let your imagination see, hear, smell and feel what it's like to respond to murders, rapes, traffic deaths and the horrible crimes done to our children.
When you've had enough, lay the book down and go back to your world. Just remember, I couldn't do that. It was with me twenty four seven.
Thanks for selecting my book.

I want to thank each and every one of you for taking an interest in my book, Dreams In Blue "The Real Police."
I initially wrote this piece of work just for my family but later decided to share it with others.
Read and enjoy.

Bio

I was born the son of a sharecropper. My parents migrated to southwest lower Michigan when I was two. Drafted into the US Army at 20 years old I served as a medic during the Vietnam era. After my discharge from the US Army I joined the National Guard and later the Army Reserves, serving in many capacities, medic, clerk, tank crewman, intel specialist and military police.
I became involved with law enforcement in 1978 when I joined the Sheriffs department as a posse member, then later joined the Bangor Michigan police force as a reserve. I was offered a chance at going through the police academy for Bangor and I did, then was hired full time. I served as a patrol officer, sergeant, training officer, detective and assistant Chief of police.
I owned my own business as a private investigator for six years.
I served on the Lawrence Village council and then was voted in as Village president (Mayor).
I am married with six daughters and so many grandchildren I am losing count.
I currently work Corporate security after having retired from the police force.
