Visit with authors at LitPark! This week Neil Gaiman will be here.

Hi.
It's been a while since I've posted anything here, but I wanted to invite you to LitPark, in case it's someplace you've wanted to be but didn't know it existed. LitPark began as a haven for writers who wanted to share the joys and miseries and inside information from a business that's known to be disheartening. It's become a positive community, not just for writers but for editors, publishers, artists and avid readers. Each week I bring in a guest, and we do something kind of playful and casual, and the community joins in as they like. This week's guest is Neil Gaiman, author of Sandman, American Gods, and Good Omens, among other books. He's also written the screenplay for three movies due in theatres this year: Beowulf, Stardust, and Coraline. I hope you'll stop by and join the conversation! http://www.litpark.com/ LitPark

Hi readers and other authors,
As many of you know, I run www.LitPark.com, a literary playground for writers, readers, artists, thinkers, and anyone who feels at home there. Each week, I ask a Question of the Week and respond to all comments. Also, each week, I feature an off-kilter interview. Today's is with Daniel Handler (sometimes known as Lemony Snicket), who talks about 9-11 and love. Past and future interviews include The New Yorker cover artist Peter de Seve, bestselling author and former drag queen Josh Kilmer-Purcell, former Deep Purple and Rainbow guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, McSweeney's editors, and many more. Stop by and join in the discussion! Thank you!

Thanks to those of you who contacted me through my blog's address to say you enjoyed Motorhead. I loved your funny stories about fish tanks and heavy metal and first loves. Your notes mean a great deal to me.
Welcome!
