Hi folks, I'm very pleased to have received two new reviews. The most recent one, from George T of Pop Syndicate, gives TWO WRONGS 5 stars and says: "Two Wrongs by Morgan Mandel is a thriller page by page. You won't want to put this one down until you've reached the end...This is a riveting reading and you will be glad you read this book." The other, from Patti McQuillen, of the Book Place Reviewers' Group, says, "This book is an awesome page turner...In the first sitting I read seventeen chapters...I do recommend this one. It pulls together life, perception, choices, consequences and communication. " To see the entire review, go to: http://morganmandel books.ning. com/group/ bookreviewers I'm happy that Two Wrongs is still generating enough interest for reviewers. Bio
My new romantic comedy, GIRL OF MY DREAMS, is a Cinderella story about a straitlaced assistant who turns vamp in a reality show to save a dying TV studio. She may win the millionaire, but is money enough to make her love him? Available in print & Kindle
My favorite spot for writing is on the Metra train, where I commute to my day job as an administrative assistant in Downtown Chicago. It's great to have that time all to myself to write. Often I feel like staying on the train instead of stepping out into the real world. Having grown up in the Chicago area, it was only natural that I incorporate that setting in my first book. The main character in Two Wrongs plays basketball for my alma mater, DePaul University, before he enters the pros. The climax occurs at Marshall Field's on State Street in Chicago (Before it turned into Macy's) Also mentioned are the Big Tree and the Walnut Room at Fields's Other landmarks from my youth are also sprinkled throughout Two Wrongs. Available in print & Kindle. I'm a past president of the Chicago-North Chapter of Romance Writers of America, presently serve as Library Liaison for Midwest Mystery Writers of America, belong to Sisters in Crime and EPIC. |
