5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Aftermarket Piece for Benelli, November 3, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good, sturdy optic rail for Benelli nova pump. The lower edges of the plate slightly overlap the shotguns grip, so you may have to adjust the way you hold it. Also, the pins that hold it in place replace the factory pins that go through the trigger plate, so to take it apart you have to remove the rail. All in all it is a great piece that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting an optic on their shotgun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smart move by Sony, November 3, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Sony did exactly what should be done to update a product, they looked at the biggest issues - 1.) The previous console had a tendency to overheat and 2.) If id did overheat, it was impossible to get your game out before sending it in for repair. To counter these problems they - 1.) Made a lighter, smaller, more efficient system and 2.) Made a spring operated release for the disc drive. After the obvious fixes, they outfitted it with a massive hard drive (500 GB) and bundled it with one of the most anticipated games of the year. All this for a reasonable price tag of $299.99. What more could you ask for? The console is amazing, much better (in my opinion) than the slim. It runs AC3 flawlessly and is whisper quiet. I would highly recommend this bundle as a first time buy or an upgrade. It is without a doubt worth every penny.

Pros: Virtually everything. Nice design, huge hard drive, new disc drive, smaller, quieter, ect.

Cons: Still comes with ONLY the composite video/audio cable, no HDMI.

4.0 out of 5 stars Franks Castle and some random thug tied to a pinball machine. Awesome?, October 26, 2011

Ok, I have mixed feelings about this figure, but here goes.

1. The sculpting is fantastic. Frank's face, body, clothing and even the guns are practically artwork.
2. The durability. This figure is very well put together, it has a noticeably heavier feel than most figures, and the joints aren't too loose or too tight.
3. The overall look. Whether you use Frank as a stand-alone piece, or use the entire display, it has an almost museum-like quality to it that you can only get from Marvel Select.

1. The accessories. Anywhere you see the Punisher, he's always locked and loaded with an arsenal of weapons from guns, to knives, and even explosives. Unfortunately, this time he's only sporting a .45 pistol and an M-4 assault rifle. No grenades, no heavy machine guns, no combat knife. I might also add that he doesn't have a holster for the pistol or a sling for the rifle. It just seemed like there should be more.
2. The "Tortured Informant. My only question is why. There are only a few Marvel Select figures that would throw in a completely irrelevant figure in lieu of more accessories, sadly, this is one of those few. I mean, I get it, "The Punisher has this guy tied up and will kill him if he doesn't talk. Then of course he does talk and even still, good ole' Frank leaves him a parting gift of a grenade in his mouth, minus the pin." I guess it's supposed to illustrate his ruthlessness, but I didn't buy this for it to tell you a story from looking at it, I bought it to look badass. It still gives that effect to an extent, but I couldn't care less about the pinball machine-thug combo. I personally didn't even bother taking that part out of the package.
3. Tim Bradstreet's interpretation. Not the entire thing, mainly just the alterations to the classic skull emblem. It just looks ridiculous. I know it has been altered many times before, but this take just seems to change it a little too much (in my opinion of course). Every other aspect of the figure seems spot on to me.

The Unavoidable:
1. The Articulation. The Punisher has 3 points of articulation, each arm moves up and down at the shoulder, and the head is on a ball joint. I have a few things to say about this: First of all; Yes, the articulation is terrible. Second of all, it doesn't matter because it's a Marvel Select figure and is not meant to be played with. Not to mention, The sacrifice of articulation gives it a more realistic look. You can either have maximum articulation, or maximum realness, not both (hence "unavoidable"). If you want articulation, I suggest looking in the Marvel Legends area.

The figure looks great and everything looks very realistic. The guns aren't brittle like some other figures (Marvel Select Deadpool for example) and won't break easily. The trench coat is especially nice because it's make of a soft rubber that looks as real as leather, but always stays in place. The base is nice, and makes a suitable backdrop to display the Punisher on. The Informant/pinball machine is ridiculous (did I mention it's a Spider-man pinball machine?) and completely detracts from from the dark, gritty feel that it should have. All-in-all, if they decide to release a variant without the informant and add a few more weapons, I'll give it 5 stars. However, as it stands now, the best Franks gonna get is 4.

5.0 out of 5 stars A near perfect rendition of Marvel's "Merc With a Mouth"., October 24, 2011

The Marvel Select or Diamond Select line of toys is known for its amazing sculpts and overall quality, this figure is no exception. The figure is beautifully detailed, everything from the belt buckle logo, to the combat knives (which are non removable)and the magazine pouches are incredibly accurate and pulled directly from the comic books. The base is also very nice and detailed well. The articulation is decent and actually more than I expected from a Marvel Select figure. There are many complaints about the lack of articulation, but nobody seems to understand that its not meant for play. There are enough joints to get him in a particular pose and display him, but constant use of the joints will cause it to wear out fast. The best thing about the joints is they are hidden quite well. The most irritating thing as a collector, is to buy a figure that has big, obvious, pin-and-hinge joints. Luckily this figure looks statue like no mater how he is articulated. Next are the weapons. He comes with 2 ninja swords (not katanas because they aren't curved), 2 sais, 2 pistols (.45 ACP's I think), and an assault rifle. All the weapons are detailed nicely, but are made of a more brittle plastic, so be careful or they might break. There are holsters for the pistols and slots for the swords on his back, the sais and assault rifle can either be held or put on the base. The only problem I had with this figure is that mine was shipped with only 1 pistol. I don't know who to contact about this but I'm sure it will get taken care of.
