2.0 out of 5 stars Meh. . ., August 4, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Recommended by a friend and described as a "quirky comical farce full of intriguing characters and a fast-paced storyline". My personal opinion is it's not that interesting or entertaining, but it keeps you watching because of the A-list actors and stylized filming. Not bad enough to press the stop button, but certainly not a movie I would rave to friends about.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks Nice, February 5, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We had to replace our old seat that came with the original fixture (from 20 yrs. ago). This was a perfect color match and the style is nice. I like the chrome fasteners as an added accent. It was easy to install, but I took one star away from the rating because the first seat we received from Amazon was obviously a previously returned item (box was ripped, item was scuffed and dirty, and the fasteners were bent and loosely attached). We had to return it and exchange it for another. Amazon should have been more diligent with quality control.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a good microwave, December 26, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We've had this microwave for a month and overall, it is a good microwave. I would have given it 5 stars except it is loud when in use, and I like being able to use the timer function and if I want, to microwave something simultaneously, which this microwave won't allow. It cooks well, is easy to use, and fits perfectly as a countertop unit. The microwave door is lightweight, which at first I thought felt chintzy, but then grew to actually like, because my kids used to slam our old (heavier) microwave door shut, and this one they have to hold and guide to close it. Hopefully it will last longer that way!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality, February 4, 2012

The cable works fine with my Motorola Droid RAZR. The connectors fit just right, not too tight or loose. The cable is nice and flexible, and the construction of everything seems to be of high quality. It also came in a simple, easy to open cardboard box. All good.

1.0 out of 5 stars Corroded to valve stem, October 2, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These caps look nice and feel pretty solid, but corroded onto the valve stems so badly in less than one year that they were nearly impossible to get off. It took penetrating oil and vise grips, and even then, the valve stem threads are pretty chewed up. If you use these, I suggest applying an anti-seize compound.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading title, October 4, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: READING THE WIND. (DVD)
This is a short dvd on some very basic, beginners' aspects of sailing. It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with "reading the wind". I can't even recommend it for beginners who are learning to sail because it's pretty unfocused and doesn't cover much material.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good overall, a couple of points to note, May 12, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First, let me say that, overall, I like this drill (although I haven't used it that much yet). It's fast, runs long on one charge, and is comfortable. I also really like the chuck - you can tighten and loosen it with one hand without a key and without running the drill. This is very convenient. The storage compartment on the case is nice too. I have a few negative points to make, though:

1. This drill has no hammer mode (Amazon's description says,"Shift Lock Driver System quickly shifts from 'hammer drill' to 'driver' mode with one touch") I can't find this feature and it's not mentioned in the manual. There is a switch to change from drill mode (max torque) to torque limited mode (for driving screws). That's nice, but it isn't a hammer drill.

2. The light is nice, but it really doesn't point right on the spot your're working on, so it's not as good as it could be.

3. The torque limiting is limited at the low end. In other words, even at the lowest setting, you can still over-drive small screws pretty easily.

4. The switch for changing the speeds gets stuck (although the Amazon ad and the manual say this is normal). You need to spin the motor a little and try a few times sometimes to get it to shift. Not a big deal, but a little annoying.

These are all pretty small points (unless you really want a hammer drill!), so overall, I'm pretty happy with this product.
