1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible. A waste of time and money., April 30, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I suffered through an hour of these lectures before returning them and can offer the following:
They are prep lectures for some exam, but certainly not the CEN as advertised. The test the lectures review includes several oral exams followed by written tests. The CEN is one written test.

These lectures are advertised as being a "Fluff-free presentation" covering only essential "need to know information to be tested. No Filler". This turns out to be a mechanical (it really sounds like a Macintosh computer on "voice" mode) reading of what I assume is a PowerPoint presentation, like the worst lecture you have ever attended. And the lecture refers to images of ekg's, CT scans and other data as if the listener can see them on the compact disc.

Finally, the one disc I endured included several references to medications and practices that are way out of date.

And that was after only an hour of listening. Don't bother with these lectures. They are a waste of your time and money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent boot for work or play, June 15, 2012
I work as a flight nurse and wear these boot for long stretches of time in diverse environments without complaint. The break in period was minimal and the side zipper is especially convenient for a late night launch. After daily use for the last six months, I can't think of a single complaint, except the color of the boots don't match my flight suit. I fixed that today and ordered a second, black pair. I'm looking forward to having my "old" pair for the trail. Oh, and having a "wide" option sealed the deal in spades.

2.0 out of 5 stars Snatching mediocrity from the jaws of greatness, November 28, 2010
Briefly, what began as a compelling epic of survival, intrigue, and magic, has devolved into a medieval fashion magazine travelogue. Were it not for the flowery description of characters' dress, armor or the color of their eyes, this novel would have take up 50 very predictable pages. And that would have been an improvement. In the interest of full disclosure, this novel should be printed in magazine form on glossy paper with lots of pictures.
Had I not loved the previous novels, I wouldn't care that this series is heading for disaster. But I did, and I do. And because of that love, I am holding out hope that the author S.M. Stirling can gather himself, return to his roots and finish this series with a hint of former greatness, and not another pile of renaissance boutique fluff.

Please Mr Stirling, come home. It's not to late. All can be forgiven...

Finally, the audio version of this book only adds insult to injury with nearly 15 minutes of repeated phrases on two separate occasions. Is this novel so bad that not even the audio engineers would listen to it prior to shipping?

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect choice for the weekend disc golfer, April 25, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This bag holds four discs, two water bottles, a couple of apples and a six pack of tall boys. All with an additional ring for a towel while keeping your beer cold. That's right, it's a cooler.

This is the perfect bag for the weekend disc golfer. It is well constructed, the perfect size to live in your car (you never know when a game might arise), and the carry strap is both comfortable and adjustable.

Did I mention that it keeps your drinks cold?

An excellent bag for the casual golfer.

4.0 out of 5 stars easier instructions available, April 25, 2007
Don't let the instructions scare you. Although it is true, the original instructions are difficult at best, (one large sheet of paper with confusing instructions 12 languages), easier instructions are available in english on the web. Simply Google "cateye mity 8" and your setup troubles are over. Worked like a charm.

As for simpler instructions in any of the other eleven languages? I Can't help you there.

Otherwise, a great bike computer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kevlar for your ipod, October 13, 2005
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The sportsuit makes the mini larger, a fact you must come to terms with. If you want a case that accentuates the sleek, diminutive properties of your ipod, this ain't it.

BUT, if you want to protect your investment, prolong its lifespan, and confidently carry your music without fear of damage, then the sportsuit is the product you have been looking for.

With the cover off you still have significant protection for your ipod and unfettered access to the controls. With the cover on you have additional security as well handy storage for your earbuds, a feature sorely missing from most cases.

If you want to emphasize how small and cute your ipod is, buy a Nano. If you want to protect your ipod and have it for a long long time, get a Marware SportSuit.
