Consumed: How Markets Corrupt Children, Infantilize Adults, and Swallow Citizens Whole
by Benjamin R. Barber
Edition: Paperback

Benjamin Barber is one of the greatest political science minds of our lifetime. Consumed is a hard, but great read. An indictment on mindless spending. A lesson in how powerful our voice as consumers really is... every dollar we spend is a vote in favor of that we are buying: the business practices, product, distribution, manufacturing, etc in it's totality. Please read this book.
