5.0 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING BOOK!, November 10, 2013
Mark Bridger and Barry Keane have produced a very fine and readable book on the JFK assassination that I heartily recommend to everyone...and I mean everyone, no matter what your take on this fascinating case is! Very well written and conceived, Bridger and Keane are to be highly commended for this volume. The attention to detail is incredible, as are the many details themselves.

In a veritable ocean of Kennedy assassination books, I can understand that it can be hard to decide exactly WHAT book to purchase and read. That said, put THIS book at the very top of your list- outstanding!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE definitive and very best account of the death of Princess Diana- compelling!, November 6, 2013
Prolific and authoritative authors David Wayne and Richard Belzer have pooled their tremendous investigative and writing talents once again in this very compelling, quite interesting, and very hard to put down book on the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales. It has been over 16 years and the vast majority of books on this subject have a trashy tabloid feel to them...NOT the case with this fine volume! The authors are to be commended with their handling of this sad and controversial case that touched the world.

What are you waiting for? Get this one as soon as possible. Highly recommended. You'll be reading this one again and again.

5.0 out of 5 stars A surprisingly great book from a fine former agent, November 6, 2013
Former Agent Dan Bongino has added a fine volume to the cannon of works on the Secret Service. I salute you, sir: you are a dedicated public servant and best of luck in all you do. Great book- very well written! Mr. Bongino speaks well on television, as well, and this book speaks just as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars My focus on the Kennedy detail encompasses more of the evidence, November 3, 2013
This book and the documentary it is based on is very good- a quite skillful and entertaining production- and worthwhile for its focus of the Secret Service and who did NOT kill JFK, yet it is bad on the ultimate conclusion of Hickey as the shooter. I interviewed and corresponded with many of Hickey's comrades and I found much evidence of Secret Service malfeasance.

5.0 out of 5 stars A seminal classic!, October 27, 2013
The late Gaeton Fonzi was a fine man with high integrity and he wrote quite a seminal book with "The Last Investigation". Fonzi's investigation was pioneering- his focus on David Sanches Morales and David Atlee Phillips is of supreme importance, to put it mildly. It would be an understatement to say that this book is highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great compact book on the JFK case, October 27, 2013
With great illustrations and facsimiles, "John F. Kennedy: The Life, the Presidency, the Assassination" is a worthwhile addition to any JFK assassination collection. Primarily for the completest, yet also engaging in its brevity. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars "You Gotta Love Harry!", October 27, 2013
I am a big admirer of Harrison Edward "Harry" Livingstone, a very prolific writer who often shoots from the hip, yet finds the target often enough that one is inclined to overlook the misses. To make an analogy: Harry is the Brett Favre of the research community, a Hall of Fame "gunslinger" known for his list of impressive wins, touchdowns, and, yes, his interceptions (mistakes). However, as with Favre, the good-the great- FAR outweighs the bad.

Harry's books "High Treason" (twice a NY Times best-seller, a classic, and the first major assassination book I read [I was later mentioned in 2 later versions of this book]), "High Treason 2" (another NY Times best-seller that I highly recommend [I helped on a few things and I am mentioned in the Acknowledgments]), and "The Radical Right..."are excellent books, warts and all; no library is complete without them. In this reviewer's opinion, Harry misfired with (the original edition of) "Kaleidoscope", "Killing The Truth" (still some good stuff contained herein), and "The Hoax of the Century" (about the Z film) , while his book "Killing Kennedy" is a mixed bag.

These opinions and criticisms are NOT to denigrate Harry- the same could be said of other highly-touted and prolific writers on the case such as Walt Brown and Harold Weisberg. The moral of the story is: the more you put out there, the greater the chances are for mistakes, misfires, etc. That said, one cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak: even these other books mentioned have items of value in them and are not to be avoided; far from it.

Ultimately, I am a big fan of Harry because I love his passion, his from-the-heart writing style, his tenacity, and his work on the medical evidence in the JFK assassination. In fact, there is no doubt that Harry was a big inspiration for this author, inspiring me to do primary research and actually contact principal witnesses in this case. In other words, to do MY OWN THINKING.

With respect to Harry's first class work on the medical evidence, I highly recommend this book "Panjandrum." When Harry takes off the gloves and writes passionately about the JFK medical evidence, one has to stop and take notice. Purchase this book asap!

A Fan Forever,
