4.0 out of 5 stars Action adventure meets Sci-fi conspiracy, January 28, 2016
The action adventure meets Sci fi conspiracy in this novel.
I kept thinking of other action novels but this plot really picks up in the second half. The first half is slightly confusing until he meets the Sons of Aeres. Then the Institute competition was like a gladiatorial war with gadgets and feuds. I am curious to see what happens in the sequel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely images of 1860s Navajo life, July 18, 2015
I re-read this book as an adult and loved the lush descriptions of Navajo life in the 1860s. The story centers around a young girl and her family when the US Government forces the Navajo from the Canyon de Chelley region to "the long walk" to Fort Sumner. Powerful narrator and good details about how the Navajo lived.

This pant was one I tried on in a store and then ordered from Amazon. I'd recommend you do that to see where your size falls as I had to go up one. These are comfortable and soft and I like the convertible pants to capris.

4.0 out of 5 stars entertaining conclusion to the trilogy, March 30, 2015
The third book has a satisfying ending for the characters and is a compelling read. The research into taking out the demon went on a bit too long but I liked the Fin and Brannan characters so I wanted to keep reading.
