Not as much power as I'd have thought. It bogs down easily. The first time I used it it wouldn't cut, so I took a look at the blade. It had no edge on it at all, so I had to sharpen it quite a bit. The blade is soft and doesn't seem to be very high quality steel. It dulls quickly.
The big wheels are great, but they are on feeble little stalks. The wheels have no bearings or bushings, they're just plastic fastened to a black painted steel shaft by a single use spring washer. It's much heavier than my old vintage mower, mostly because the deck is heavy gauge steel. Unfortunately this thing doesn't do much mulching, although it claims to be able to operate in mulch, catch or throw mode just by changing the attachments. The plastic bottle of oil that came with it broke and covered the whole thing with oil during shipping. The engine is shipped dry, you must add the proper oil before starting it!! This is probably one of the better newer mowers, but I can't tell. It does work, just not as well as my vintage one did before it was stolen.

Woodward Fab (HECWFBR6) 18" Bead Roller Kit
Woodward Fab (HECWFBR6) 18" Bead Roller Kit

3.0 out of 5 stars Fine considering it's the cheapest option out there. Expect to modify it to get it to perform., November 5, 2014
It's not a bad start for bead rolling and flanging. It works fine with 20, 22 gauge, 18 gauge is pushing it but it will do the job as advertised. It's difficult to control with one hand cranking and the other hand guiding the work piece. I would plan to modify it if you buy it, or save time and buy a more expensive one that needs nothing.
* First mod, polish the dies. They are rough turned and will transfer all of their rough edges and marks to the steel. This is not pretty. I'm chucking them in a lathe and cleaning them up with a file and emery cloth. They should be close to mirror finished.
* The various bolts are not great. Replace some of the bolts with a higher grade and add lock washers. I noticed the single bolts holding the bushings on the rods want to walk out. It would be better if these were more expensive pillow block bearings like the more expensive machines have.
* Either replace the crank with a large diameter hand wheel (like 20"+ inches), or hook up a reduction-gear motor to turn the crank for you.
* This frame is flat. It needs additional T structure on the top and bottom. Add a top and bottom plate to stiffen the jaws. This will also make a convenient place to store the dies and tools.
* Add a handwheel and a spring to adjust the top die bushing. The provided box end screw adjuster is lame.
So, with some additional work it can be a good bead roller. It's just not out of the box.

2.0 out of 5 stars The hammers suck, but the dollies are OK, October 23, 2014
The hammers suck, but the dollies are OK. I broke the heads off of some of the hammers. The round head on the pick hammer broke right off at the neck. This is just the wrong kind of mystery steel for a hammer. It's too soft and also brittle. These are not heat treated, so the faces will mushroom out like a soft hammer. Soft hammers are a waste of time with sheet metal. If you are hitting soft metal with soft metal, on a soft metal dolly, you're not really stretching anything are you? A high quality forged and heat treated hammer of the correct alloy will move metal a whole lot more efficiently, won't mushroom out or lose its surface finish when hammering over welds.

5.0 out of 5 stars I want a few more now, August 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got one to use as a bluetooth only system in a room. Basically any time you want to hear some music, turn it on with the remote and bring up some tunes on your smartphone. Bluetooth works flawlessly, I stream Pandora and other internet radio without a hitch. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but it's inconspicuous enough mounted on a wall. It can get surprisingly loud without distortion for something of its size. I mainly listen to it at night at low volume, and I find that for some electronic music at low volume, the bass kind of takes over. You can roll the bass off from the remote control, so it's no problem. I think the extended bass at low volume is due to the design, as its designed to reproduce low frequencies at higher volumes than would normally be possible for its size.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works, toxic ammonia fumes. Wear full body protection and a respirator., August 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This stuff takes off paint. It smells like industrial strength ammonia, so it's probably pretty toxic. I wear a respirator that is rated for toxic fumes and solvents. Otherwise the smell and fumes are unbearable. It will also burn the hell out of any skin it comes into contact with. It depends on the type of paint, but I've never been able to get more than a few heavy coats off at a time. A single coat of paint+primer might come off with one application, left on for at least 15 minutes, not in direct sunlight where it will evaporate too quickly. For really heavily paint jobs that have been re-painted over a few times, this stuff will work, but it will take multiple applications with scraping in between to get to bare metal. It will remove fillers (bondo) but if its more than 1/8" thick it will take a few applications. I haven't yet found anything that will take off all paint, no matter how many coats without total submersion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better, finer than anything else for the money, August 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is one of the best polyester glazes I've ever used. It pours like heavy syrup and mixes easily, has a good long work time and then hardens fast and can be filed or sanded in 15-20 minutes. I have used it as a leveling filler to smooth out hammer marks and deep grinding scratches. I've also used it as a sanding surfacer for larger areas in place of a sprayable surfacer, but it takes more work to spread than a sprayable obviously. I don't like using fillers at all, but glazing is always necessary to avoid pinholes and shrinking into hard to see scratches. This stuff is so fluid and free of air that it will cure with no pinholes if mixed on the board properly. Great for smoothing over weld in panels and epoxy bonded panel seams.

This is beginner level technical stuff, but very informative. Sanding and paint tips and tricks, some product review/promos. Interesting stuff about lacquer/2k paint incompatibility and testing existing coatings for potential problems.
