2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible execution of what could be a good product., January 28, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Can't stream local content over a LAN, and Google's streaming media servers are unreliable in the extreme resulting in a very poor overall user experience.

1.0 out of 5 stars Complete failure, January 28, 2014

Micro USB port not to spec, so no charging cables can be connected. Shoddy construction and cheap materials, overall. Avoid!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good game design, so-so word choices and clues., May 26, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Too much reliance on ephemeral pop-culture references. Clues often rely on questionable definitions. That said, the game design is an engaging variant on standard crossword, jumble and similar word-based puzzle games.

If you enjoy build-a-town style simulator games you should give this one a try. Only criticism is the hard sell of in-game items for this "free" game; but that is the trend these days.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth lugging around, February 20, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
WiFi-only and small on-device storage severely limits access to content away from home. No access to standard Android Market along with lack of basic hardware features (camera, GPS etc.) means Fire isn't a viable choice as a general-purpose tablet. Backlit screen makes Fire harder to use as an ebook reader outdoors than other Kindle models, though color video is a nice-to-have feature. (HD would be even nicer, of course.) Overall, I find myself gravitating back to my 3G Kindle instead of grabbing the Fire when heading out the door.

Good album of 80's inspired pop rock. $2 for a 4 page PDF with a track list and some so-so graphics? Really?

4.0 out of 5 stars Best all-around QR app, September 20, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: QR Droid Plus! (App)
A few bugs in minor functionality (e.g. home screen shortcuts to history entries often link to wrong QR code), but core functionality is complete and solid. Worth the price if you are really irked by ads in the free version or want to reward professional quality Android app development and encourage more.
