Works great with our eXact 20 photometer. The results are comparable to what we got from a lab within the sensitivity of the test.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gives accurate results and saves lots of money, June 18, 2014

There's a lot of potential concerns for water in our area. Everyone regularly gets water tests to see if any treatment is needed. Before we got this photometer, we were sending samples to a lab. Those tests are NOT cheap! We compared the last test with results from this photometer and were happy to find that the results were comparable. We were a bit surprised at the accuracy considering this whole kit only costs as much as 2 - 3 lab tests.

Now our whole court is using this. All we have to do is restock the test strips when needed and we're good to go. Most of the strips are well under 50 cents a piece. Even if we ran all the tests this meter supports, we'd be spending less than $15 each time.

Very happy. You can download the manual from their website to see what parameters it can measure. It's sensafe dot com.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurately measures Permanagante with the photometer, June 18, 2014

We have iron and hydrogen sulfide in our water. To treat it, we use a green sand filter that uses permanganate as the oxidizer. We use these strips to verify that the backwash of permanganate is actually going down the drain and not into our water pipes. With the photometer, we can detect the least bit of permanganate.

As the description says, you DO need a photometer to use these. They're not the kind of strips where you dip and pray to match a color chart. You use these in the photometer and it returns a digital result. ITS (the company that makes these strips) sells their own line of photometers. We got the eXact 20 Well Drillers Kit and couldn't be more happy. Now we KNOW what we're drinking :) Their site is sensafe dot com

We're pretty happy with these. The results we got back from the lab matched the ones we got with the strips and photometer. Now we can test whenever we wish for next to no cost. We live in an area with a lot of fertilizer use so we definitely wanted to test this parameter.

Like the description says, you DO need a photometer to use these. They're not dip and pray you match a color. The meter gives you a digital result. ITS sells their line of eXact photometers and we're glad we found them. It saves us a lot of money. Their site is sensafe dot com

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what we needed at a great price, June 17, 2014

Highly recommend.

Our water has Iron and Hydrogen Sulfide. We use a green sand filter to remove it. These strips (along with the eXact 20 photometer) have given us confidence that the filter continues to work properly. We took a sample before treatment and after treatment. We tested using the eXact meter and sent the samples for a lab test. The results were comparable and now we can test as often as we like for next to no cost - less than 50 cents per test.

You DO need a photometer to use these as the description says. ITS (the company that makes these strips) makes a line of meters. Their webpage is at sensafe dot com

5.0 out of 5 stars These came with my eXact 20 photometer kit, June 17, 2014
I've been quite happy with these. They came included with the kit when I purchased the eXact 20 photometer. The results have been comparable to what we got from the lab for significantly less. We can run 100 tests for less than the price of one lab test.

As the description says, you DO need an eXact photometer from the company to use the strips. Their site is sensafe dot com

5.0 out of 5 stars Good results, quickly with their photometer, June 17, 2014
I was actually pretty impressed. This low cost test gave results that were comparable to what we got from the lab. Now for a one time investment in the meter and this reagent, we can test as often as we need.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practicality the best Sudoku, March 11, 2014

This review is from: Enjoy Sudoku (App)
For years this has been my favorite implementation of Sudoku. I had this for webOS and as soon as I switched to Android this was the first app I bought.

Some might complain that it hasn't been updated in a long time but the simple fact is that it hasn't needed to be. The only feature I'd like to see is the ability to import Sudokus like Sudoku 10,000 can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Author might be British which explains spelling, March 11, 2014

A previous reviewer complained that the author couldn't even get the spelling of the cover correct and gave a 1 star review without having read it. I think the reviewer failed to consider that the author might be British where "defence" IS the correct spelling.

I haven't completed the book yet but so far I've enjoyed it. There are other characteristically British spellings.
