It is a small corn being-yellow little pellets size slightly bigger then regular mud clay litters. It looks different and is different in every way. You open then ban and smell nothing relay not the typical little smell or anything.
It is a lot lighter then regular litter so you get lots more volume compared to clay. You filly the box it is lighter then your usual
littler so you may need to add extra. My can accidently tipped over his large litter box when there was about 2.5 inches in it he
only weighs 9.5 pounds. So I upped it to around 4 inches and no more problems depending on the size of your cat and box
keep this in mind
So you poor it out and there is no dust. My glasses are normally covered with dust whenever I handle little. Also when you sift
throught it doesn't get dusty
When your cat uses the litter it very quicly socks up the urine and dry out the poop. I clean my litterbox daily and I no longer
want a nose plug. Even after a week the clay litter starts to get alittle smelly and by the end of the week to spite cleaning and
adding baking soda to it would have an odor that wasn't pleasant. After 4 week this had a very very faint smell but wasn't bad
I still swaped litter as I do it every 4 weeks
Cleaning the box is a breeze. I use to spend 30 m,inutes per litter box with my sifter and litter genie having to sift the entire box
all the way to bottem to get out all the waste. And I'm serious I would have to sift every grain to get a clean box. It was nasty
smelly and I get all dusty and dust all in the air.
Now t takes 5 minutes top I can easily move the litter around the box and quickly see the lumps whoch are towars the top as the
litter quickly socks up urine a traps it. It never reaches the bottom like the olds stuff. The spots where the cat peed are nice
large firm lumps easily scopped up and the pooped is drived out but has little to no litter on it. For some reason the litter once
soiled changes color slightly and stands out super easily to see unlike clay. Plus the litter creates one bif lump around the
urine no small little clups here and there. It looks the urine into a large solid lump. That is darker color as well as the feces
being dark in color so you can spot the lumps quickly. you can just take the sifter and move the litter around ltill you find dirt
area. Unlink clay litter that breaks up this will hold firn if your scoop hits it while searching. You can then remove soiled
clump early to the litter genie in my case. occasionally I have to sift a bit but levy litter just dig the top layer up and over to
the side clean the middle and top layer of debris as I find it and also do a quick stir through out the bottom just in case then
simply scoop the litter back down till it is nice and flat as my cat likes.
The litter doesn't smell poorly at all or is covered up by some fake scent. My cat has no problem using it he took right too the new litter without any issue. I think he like not have to dig so far to find a fresh spot as well that it isn't smelly There is a couple issues as nothing is perfect but this is close. This is expensive compared to generic clay litter. But worth every cent. Do to the extra volume per pound it takes less to fill my box. You get 28 instead of the typical 25 lb bags for the price. Also since it takes less to fill the box so you get about 2-4 extra box full per bag compared to the generic 25 lb bags. It is lightweight so the box require more litter this mean if the can digs a lot litter is going to come out of the box. The lighter larger pieces get caught in just toes and fur a little (thank goodness I have a short haired cat). Lucky I have a very large litter mat underneath the box which catches most of it. But some of the little grains usually end up where he grooms. But this is a small price to pay. I would recommend you get a litter mat I recommend the Petmate Litter Catcher Mat Extra Large, Grey it is sold here on amazon it is 3ft by 4ft roughly and will cost 27.00 but it is worth not stepping on the litter.
I have tried the typical clay litter in regular, super heavy duty, armon hammer multi-cat, swheat the wheat litter, Newsparer litter, the crystals, pine, and other brands of corn based litters. And several brands of some of them and I have to say I have finally found a litter worth have paying for. I am very happy with this and recommend it
IF YOU HAVE LITTER ISSUES OR JUST WANT SOME THA WORKS BETTER THIS IS TRULY THE BEST CAT LITTER
