5.0 out of 5 stars INCREDIBLE MAPPING OF THOUGHT VS. CONCEPT, March 6, 2011
The book starts off by explaining diabetes in a thorough yet simple manner, thus reduce if not eliminate any doubts that may fall upon a diabetic as well as the family surrounding him/her. Gives you a clear understanding of approaching diabetes. It‚s like you are working your way up a multilevel building. Each ‚level‚ turns you into an expert on that topic as you read along from chapter to chapter. The book spares no detail in informing the reader about the history of diabetes and how you can find out if you might be a diabetic at home. I never knew there were other types of diabetes besides type I and type II. (Read it to find out). Must have taken forever to write because of how it separates all the information into these different subtopics instead of running all his thoughts into each other.

The book includes all factors that could have contributed to diabetes. These include one‚s genetic makeup, their early childhood environment, and exposure to different viruses, lifestyle, and other factors affect the occurrence and severity of diabetes in any slightest way possible. Overall, this is one of those rare books which get right to the point without leaving the reader hanging everywhere, though the Table of Contents could make you think so at first glance. Much recommended. Definitely a good read if you care to walk through all of it.
