5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected, December 11, 2014

Bought this on Black Friday for a steal. It's one of those rare occasions when a product is much better than what you envisioned it to be. Fits as expected and is made well. Totally happy with this jacket.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good game... but really Shaky Goalies and cheese AI., October 9, 2013
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: NHL 14 - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
I've been playing the Stanley Cup mode and have to say the AI for the Goalies is really out of whack. My goalie Lundqvist of the Rangers gives up really soft goals and doesn't react properly to many shots... sometimes not at all. While the CPU goalie Hiller of the Ducks stands on his head making spectacular save after save on juicy rebounds... 2 on 1's and every glorious scoring opportunity you can think of. He's a human highlight reel. Then my goalie gives up some lame, long range slap shot goal that Lundqvist would stop in his sleep in real life. Very aggravating. Basically this is a pretty awesome game... but it has some cheap AI going on with the goalies... and other areas. Overall I totally recommend this game... but you better learn how to play D first and foremost and avoid some cheesy goalie AI ruining your day. New fighting engine is a lot of fun and a welcome addition compared to that pitiful first person mode fighting from the previous games. Score: An 8 1/2 out of 10.

(Revised 10/12/13)

I felt it was my duty to come back and talk about how cheesy this games AI is when playing the CPU. If you've ever played online I'm sure your sick of idiots coming out from behind your net as your statue defenseman don't react properly and it's a goal 90% of the time. Well your CPU opponent does the same CHEESE!!! The CPU doesn't set up hockey plays.... they score on bogus cheese wrap arounds and long slap shots your goalie doesn't react to. On the other hand the CPU goalie stands on it's head as you make amazing HOCKEY setups and get robbed time after time. The point is the AI pretty much blows in this game to the point I don't even want to play it anymore. It's not fun... just aggravating with this lame AI.

7/10 Score: In the end the Cheap AI ruins the experience in single player modes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great!, April 19, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just got this yesterday and it goes way past my expectations. Once you use it a few times you won't be able to live without it. It's nice that for such a small unit it delivers as much power as you will ever need, with a nice variety of massage settings. I don't even set it close to it's top power setting and it does a great job. Great Product from a very courteous and trustworthy seller. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid minor update, March 6, 2013
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I'm a big a fan of this series... but the question is, are these MINOR additions enough to warrant another full $60 bucks? Especially if you still own MLB 12 The Show. This game has now officially fallen into the Madden REHEAT category. While it's a superior game to Madden... The Show has now sort of hit that wall where they talk up all this stuff... but after a few games you go... this is basically the same as last years game. If you didn't buy last years game go for it. If you still have 12... you might want to save your $60. At least wait for a price drop.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid calibration tool., November 17, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This Blu-ray calibration DVD is great for setting up the picture for your Blu-ray player and watching most of the HD movie channels. The animated stuff like UP, Wall-e and Toy Story on Blu-ray really pop on the screen and are very pleasing to the eyes. BUT when it comes to watching Sports and playing video games you are probably going to want to tweak these setting to your likings. For Sports and video games you'll want to increase the backlight, brightness and contrast settings to give a more 'vivid' and lighted crisp look to the picture. Most HDTV's have many pre set picture settings to choose from ... so use this Calibration DVD for editing/setting up your 'Movie', Standard or Custom settings for primarily Movie/Blu-ray watching.... and then set up the 'Game' and many sports settings with the setting you prefer for them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent gameplay, but terrible physics/tackling., August 30, 2012
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First of all the running game is pretty fun, and the passing game is pretty well done now. Even the AI seems better and you get what you deserve vs the CPU. BUT this 'Infinity' physics/ tackling engine is an absolute horror show. If you see 10 tackles in a game that actually looks realistic you'll be lucky. And I won't even count guys flopping to the ground like rag dolls after a play is over or arms being bent in impossible ways.

Bottom line is the tackling physics and animations in this game are embarrassingly bad and stuff you'd never see on Sunday's in the NFL. It's like grenades are going off around the ball carrier and guys just go flying all over the place on impact. Or the RB and defender hit head on and they both go down like they've hit a brick wall or been shot in the back. Hardly any momentum of the RB is taken into account. It's painfully unrealistic looking and it ruined the game for me. It's inexcusable for such a key component such as TACKLING in a football game to be this much of a disaster and look like a joke. EA... just go get the Euphoria physics/tackling engine that Backbreaker uses already and stop the madness. For a football game... bad tackling means a bad game. NFL 2K5 has better tackling STILL which is mind boggling really! Stop wasting time on Kinect controls and the social network BS and work on improving the actual game engine! Such baby steps each year is pathetic man.
How can you have tackling this bad in Madden after all these years of development? Tiburon is in over it's head is the answer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Game. No more button mashing., July 10, 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've always liked these Olympic type games but many of the games were more frustrating than fun. This London 2012 game has made the controls much more user friendly and skill based instead of a button mashing fest. You're now concentrating on the timing of when to launch your jump and at what angle instead of worrying about mashing buttons to build up speed. So far I'm really liking this game vs the Cpu(on medium difficulty is very fair so far) and it's easily the best Track and Field/Olympic game on the market to date. Good party game with friends and family too. Graphics and presentation are solid and the sound is fine outside of the announcer being annoying at times. Total sleeper this game.

1.0 out of 5 stars No Curling = NO SALE!, July 1, 2012

Note to Sega or whoever makes a Winter Olympics game. Make a killer Curling event... and then worry about the other events.
