5.0 out of 5 stars Good book for patterns, good book for the coffee table, March 13, 2007
This book has some pretty interesting paterns for scarves made by celebrities. This book also has some bio information on the people who made the scarves, and proceeds go to benefit a great cause. A lot of the yarns featured are not easily found locally, so substitutions may be required. All in all, I would recommend this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the stitches, but wish there was a project or two..., March 13, 2007
This book contains some pretty nice and somewhat intricate cable stitches. I have always loved cable stitches in knitting, but aside from the standard twisted cable, I did not know any other stitches in crochet. There are several that I would not necessarily consider "cables" in the traditional sense, but this book is informational nonetheless. I do wish, however, that there was a pattern or two in this book, to try the new stitches. I am not new to crochet, but a beginner might have difficulty finding projects to use these stitches with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good little book, March 13, 2007
Loved the size, as this book is portable. I purchased it simply for the pattern on the cover, but there are many patterns inside I intend to use. It's a good choice for those who want to make a variety of scarves for gifts.

4.0 out of 5 stars good little book, March 13, 2007
Book is nice and small, can easily be taken places and worked with. As with any project pattern book, some are good patterns, and some patterns you would most probably never use. People are different, though, and may like the patterns I didn't. I would use about 3/4 of the patterns myself, and I do like the size and convenience.
