1.0 out of 5 stars WORST GAME IN HISTORY!!!, November 16, 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
I really wish I could rate this ZERO stars.
This is a HUGE RIP OFF and sony should be ashamed of themselves.

The single-player "campaign" touts itself as the bridge between the two Black Ops games, which is quite simply a lie. What you have here are 10 missions ranging in length from eight minutes long, to well-under two minutes. There were a handful of levels that I was able to complete in roughly 90 seconds. YES 90 SECONDS!!!!!!

Multiplayer is present, but correct would be a stretch. Connecting to a game can be a lottery: a patch has improved matters, but errors and glitches are still frequent, and menus treacle-slow. A great many awkward, short-lived firefights greet you when you do manage to connect. So tiny are the maps that Nihilistic has seemingly nerfed the aiming to ensure you last longer than a few seconds, though you'll sometimes spawn in enemy territory and die before you've lifted your gun from your hip.

Metacritic average is 31 right now with 12 reviews.......31!!!!
NOT 31 out of 40, NOT 31 out of 50.......31 OUT OF 100!!!!!!!
The highest review is a 45 out of 100..........45!!!!!

This game is so terrible reviewers are even asking for refunds.
Sony refused to provide copies to reviewers because they knew the game was garbage.

5.0 out of 5 stars GAME OF THE YEAR!!!, November 6, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
AMAZING GAME!! 10 outta 10...will make you forget about Halo Reach :)

Graphics are STUNNING!!! Although environments are huge, I never found myself lost in the game, even though I frequently didn't have a beacon pointing me where to go next. Fights with the Prometheans were also varied enough that you could approach enemies from a number of different angles and entry points unlike a typical FPS.

I focused on the single-player campaign mostly, but there's a healthy amount of multiplayer for other "hardcore" gamers. There's Spartan Ops which takes place after the Halo 4 campaign and allows you to play as UNSC Infinity crewmembers or part of a Spartans squad called Majestic Squad. It's episodic and free. In addition, Forge (BEST MAP EDITING ON ANY GAME) returns so you can design your own multiplayer maps.

You can also play the entire campaign mode cooperatively with up to three other players, though oddly, everyone plays as Master Chief. (I mean... I guess that sort of makes sense. Who wouldn't want to be Chief? It'll probably saves friends from fighting with each

The love that Chief and Cortana have for each other as true friends is strong in Halo 4 and helps in service to what is surprisingly an emotionally strong game. There's lots of "the's" thrown around over the course of the story as in we have to stop The Blank from accessing The Other Blank... but put all of that aside, and the story of this friendship that knows no bounds is exceptionally told and emotionally earned.

There's also love for the source material by developer 343 Industries that is quite evident. Franchise fans will see how they tried to echo previous games as well as ensure their story tied into the one Bungie told. It was a tough mission but one they accomplished.

Easily should win game of the year IMO

5.0 out of 5 stars IGN 9, Giant Bomb 10, Metacritic 86, October 23, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
The reviews for this game are outstanding! The collectors edition is the icing on the cake. Undeniably, the Forza franchise will maintain its dominant #1 position among console racing games.

Forza Horizon Showcases Open World Action Racing Does Donuts On The Competition

Don't mistake "Forza Horizon" for an arcade racer though, because it is anything but. Think more of an "action racer with simulation elements." There are still options galore for fine-tuning each car, down to the headache-inducing minutiae of previous "Forza Motorsport" games, but unlike in previous Forza games, "Forza Horizon" offers a level of accessibility to gamers who may aspire to God-like racing and tuning skills.

Yet another reason why Forza is the highest rated racing series this generation.

If you love cars and racing buy Forza Horizons, you will not be disappointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Feels cheap, looks cheap, but MORE EXPENSIVE!!??, September 27, 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Well I must say I am extremely disappointed in this new console. It is like something from the early 90s or atari generation with its cheap top loading slot. The sliding slot cover is fragile and unstable and came shipped with only a piece of tape covering it. I know sony is in financial trouble but this thing feels like a toy, not a console. I have to admit I am shocked that this is more expensive than the old slim. This thing should be 199$ MAX.

Worse yet, this cheapie console fails to fix major ps3 problems that plagued past ps3 consoles.

PSN is unstable and infiltrated by hackers
NO PS2 backwards compatibility
PS3 can't do cross game chat

This feels like an expensive downgrade.

Avoid this console

1.0 out of 5 stars Almost as expensive as a BRAND NEW 3DS, February 16, 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
WOW the words RIP-OFF do not do this card and sony justice.

There's nothing particularly special about Sony's Vita memory cards, other than the fact that they are proprietary, so you can't use any standardized 3rd party SD cards like you can with the 3DS. With all games for the Vita being available day and date to buy on PSN for digital download, it's a bit disappointing that these aren't more cost effective. You can actually buy a 3DS, that comes with a memory card for only $30 more than the cost of a 32GB Vita card. A standard 32 GB SD memory card for digital cameras is about $35 on Amazon.

What's the deal Sony? You're already way over Nintendo's price point, so why rip off your customers by charging so much for memory cards? This screams cash grab and lack of respect for your customers.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING BUNDLE!!! Best of breed, November 2, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Just when I thought I didn't need another xbox this amazing deal comes along. I will be giving this to my brother for Christmas. He has been wanting a 360 for quite some time but didn't have the money to upgrade. He has been a WII-only gamer for this generation and felt it was time to experience a more mature gaming ecosystem. And fortunately for him, this bundle deal is the PERFECT ecosystem for the core gamer

I can honestly say without the shadow of a doubt that this will be his best christmas ever. Halo Reach is undoubtedly the best halo ever IMO. I thought Fable 3 was a fabulous RPG as well, perhaps it was lacking a bit when it first launched but the it has since become my favorite in the series.

Enjoy this bundle everyone, you will not be disappointed!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Re-skinned sequel....PREDICTABLE .....very disappointing, November 1, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

My own personal experience: On the second level the walls of this castle are crumbling down around me. The flames engulfing it are making their way ever higher. Desperate, I leap out of a miraculously convenient open window onto a roof.

I bet the roof will start collapsing and I'll have to run towards the camera, I think to myself just before Nathan Drake starts doing exactly that.

Afterwards, I feel like the whole event would have been more exciting if it hadn't been so utterly predictable.

The conclusion comes with a slight pang of disappointment. The problem is that Naughty Dog has become so competent at working within the Uncharted template that it's hard to shake the feeling that this third adventure could have offered a little more outside of the headline set-pieces. This is in no way to diminish the quality of the combat, platforming and puzzling - all are delivered with the same quality as fans would expect - but with this third outing there's a distinct feeling of diminishing returns...that no matter how gorgeous the visuals (and they are utterly gorgeous), how rousing the plot and how likeable the characters may be, the gameplay might be starting to wear a little thin

I loved uncharted 2 but UC3 seems like a rehash cash grab by sony. This game pales in comparison to its predecessor. The fact that my hopes for this game were unrealistically high, no doubt contributed to my feelings of disappointment.

Overall the package that defines UC3 is missing something.

I suggest waiting until this game hits the bargain bins
Do not buy new

5.0 out of 5 stars Game of the year!!, September 20, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Gears of War 3 (Video Game)
This game is OUTSTANDING and easily the best gears of war EVER!!!
I will break up my review to the 2 things most people care about, multiplayer and combat reviews.

Combat typically offers four options for weapons: a primary weapon, secondary weapon, pistol and grenade. Three other players are with the team, and they can be controlled by the computer or by others for co-op play, which is fun if you want to get a real feel for the campaign while enjoying the game with your friends.

The weapons have weight to them and feel powerful. Shooting from behind cover, one of the hallmarks of the franchise, is required as enemies appear from nearly every angle. You'll want to keep your head down.

Teamwork is key. Not only will a mate come to your rescue when you are down, they can also set up opportunities to flank your opponents and end battles quicker. It all flows naturally (much like the copious amounts of blood spilled in the battles) and is well-paced, with plenty of ammo and weapons to be scavenged and used.

The game helps new players along with a casual mode that highlights enemies and objectives for easier play. There is an "aim-assist" mode that will line up enemies if you have trouble getting those pesky Locusts in your crosshairs.

Six modes of multiplayer action offer all kinds of mission objectives beyond just killing the other team. Whether it's capturing and holding an enemy leader (while defending your own) or playing as one of the monsters against human opponents, variety will keep players entertained.

Dedicated servers around the world, which will host the multiplayer games, also will be available, fulfilling a common player desire from previous "Gears of War" games. Developers said this should eliminate the perception that players hosting multiplayer matches had an advantage over other players.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Fitness Game of our Generation, June 28, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

Once you actually get the gameplay it is worth it

The game detects everything you do with pen-point accuracy. It also detects speed, power, and pace. With punching heavy and speed bags you find out very quickly that just waving your hands around is not going to do the job. You have to as I would say "Get it in!" It's very realistic, if you punch a speed bag too hard, you throw of your pace, same goes if you don't show proper timing. Whether it's knees, elbows, round house kicks, or headbutts this game catches it all. Your body's movements are also detected as well, so you can duck and dodge punches in training. Heavy bags can take anything you throw at them no matter how fast or hard you hit. Grind Mode allows you to fight in freestyle, so you can hone your skills.

Working with MMA trainers is a big help when trying to reach your goals, as you receive lots of encouragement on your fitness journey. In Multiplayer, which by the way was the 1st I've seen in any fitness game, you can switch in and out. Meaning if you and your buddy are playing at your house after your set he can do his. Yes, Game on! There is a competitive scoring system allowing you and others to beat out the current high score record keeper. There are UFC fighters with a variety of challenging rhythm and timing-based agility drills that utilize punching and kicking sequences. You can also unlock a variety of different drills to earn rewards. The best part is that the training gets harder as you move on making sure you don't feel like you're out growing it. You can lose weight, build strength, or increase your skill just by choosing a mode or pace that best fits you.

1.0 out of 5 stars UNSECURE System - PSN = Hacker's nest - DON'T buy, May 14, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Well i tried to give sony the benefit of the doubt because I had heard people talking about the ps3. Turns out their online service PSN is severely deficient in comparison with its competitors. All credit card information and personal identities of OVER 100 MILLION psn uses has been left unprotected by sony. Even some of the most basic features such as PATCHED servers and FIREWALLS were missing from sony's network. Basically the PSN was an open invitation for hackers to take all your personal information. And to this day almost a FULL MONTH LATER, sony still has not even fixed some MAJOR SECURITY FLAWS - [...]

I am an online game. I play on XBOX LIVE a lot and I was severely disappointed in the lack of functionality PSN provides. NO cross game chat, NO party system.....etc.
PSN is basically the poor man's online experience. However, PSN has been down almost a month do to sony's own security failures. Sony has left you no choice....REPEAT AFTER ME........SONY HAS LEFT YOU NO CHOICE!!! How anybody can defend sony's incompetence is beyond me.

Goodbye ps3, we barely knew ye
