God of War III is a bloody mayhem game that should be a movie or a series of novels.

Although i read some, i dont think i could visualize this game in a book without what i kill in the game. Knowing and having all 3 game like i do, i would like to go further into this crazy universe in a book or movie series.

Greek mythology will be coming in the movie screens sonn with Clash of the Titans. Too bad it aint God of War.

This game is off the hook!

I bought this game the day it came out and stayed up all night butchering demons from hell.

Great graphics and different storyline. Not since God of War have I had so much fun slaughtering monstas and men.

If you like gratuitous battle and scary elements where sleep just wont come to ya, making to stay up to slay the beast - then kid, dis ones fer you!

Peace out.

3.0 out of 5 stars My Bro Eli Brought the book down - hard!, March 25, 2010
This review is from: The Book of Eli (DVD)
Man I dig these types of movies and books. Post holocaust. Too bad the long running series Deathlands can't have been made into a movie like dis.

The two black directors here are solid filmmakers. Dead presidents was kickin it old school. If you havent seen that film, then you need to check it out.

Although way better than Legion, Book of Eli still needed a bit more action in it. The commercials sold it like that, but it needed more. But when Denzel was slicin and dicin - it was bad to the bone!

Like to have seen some mutants.

But still worth seeing if you dig action movies.

Eric is outtttt....

3.0 out of 5 stars Cleaning up the killers..., March 25, 2010
I don't know what cover this website is showing, but it aint the cover of the book I got!

Oh, well. Anywho, this 3rd novel of this series is good, but not great. The first two were much better.

Although the stakes are higher here, da bomb just didn't drop hard enough at the end for me. I really wanted ta see Swanson kick some major ass here, but he didn't roll out as much as he could have.

I wanted to read him and his Trident eam kickin it old school together. wasting terrorists left and right. I kinda didn't get that.

Good but not as great as it could have been. Still well written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally! A good harvest!, March 25, 2010
After having to throw away the last 3 books, i was beginning to think this series has finally began its downward spiral like its sister series Outlanders.

The last 3, which i'll call the trilogy of terribles was really getting to me. I can only recall only once in over ten years not being able to finish a deathlands book. But the last 6 months have been just like that.

Finally the draught is over!

Whoever wrote Blood Harvest needs to continue writing this series all alone. It felt like the terrific writer who wrote the Dark Ressurection Xibola something or other novels. Dem books are da bomb!

And so's this one. I think now i am gunshy as to which of thse books to purchase. I guess i will have to read a few chapters at the bookstore before i purchase another one. Seems there are 2 or 3 bad ones before you get a good one.

To whoever wroite this one - thank you mucho much, dude!

2.0 out of 5 stars Time to cast this one away, March 25, 2010
After not being able to even finish another deathlands book i guess the publishers dont care about fans. After just finished the latest deathlands book blood harvest, i couldnt help but review what a difference in writing styles.

If you want to read a back to excellence, skip these last three books and just buy the March issue of this series. I was sbeginning to stop reading this series like I did outlanders for the same lackluster writing.

2.0 out of 5 stars Alpha Wave is more like Delta Dirt..., October 18, 2009
After the past 3 great deathlands comes aturkey so cold that no one even seems ta want to review it.

There has not been a worse deathlands book since strontim swamp and salvation road. This will definately go down as one of the all time worst books in this long series.

I would think this was another Andy Boot book, but according to the [...] website, it is the same writer that has been writing the last coupla outlanders books. Good concepts, but poor execution - in both seires!

When Alpha Wave was in my hands, I thought this one looked like and sounded like a Victor Milan book, like his train/vengeance last DL book that was awesome.

But not even close. When Krysty is sick and near death, she seems to be able to tell all his friends, and her friends all seem able to communicate with her...but Ryan! Ryan talks about Krysty's condition as if she even isn't in the scene! Totally stood out as stupid and a first-timer writer who doesn't know these characters awas at work here.

Then my eyes glazed over when they approach a hostile ville and a sec guard tries to kill Ryan, and Ryan shoots the gun right out of the guys hand. Far-fetched enough? No it gets worse. The guard thinks that ryans shot is so awesome, that he decides to come out and act like a starstruck fan of this stranger with one eye!

And this writer describes the clothing of Ryan all wrong. Only in the cover art does he wear a leather vest - but not on the books. (Great research there!)

Same with the blasters. Writer got quite a few things wrong there as well. Slow plodding and pacing made me put this book down more than a few times to read much better books in my library arsenal.

There is a reason that no one is giving this solid reviews like the last 3 books. Not even on the serie's mother website - [...] does anyone discuss or review this book. Well heres your template.

I want my money back.

4.0 out of 5 stars One Second After rocks!, August 30, 2009
This review is from: One Second After (Hardcover)
I dig me some disaster type books. This should be a movie. I been reading the james axler books and one of the two series has taken a dive so i find other books to fill that need.

And here is one of them. Full to the brim with interesting characters and good action when the world is taken down a peg by an EMP pulse. And this can happen quite easily! Thats the scary part. Great writer. Fast paced and very beliveable.

Man if you aint got this book then you need to get it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Deathlands saves da day, August 30, 2009
After reading two bad to mediochre outlanders books this one was a breath of fresh air. Even thought it dont seem to be the same author as the last two [...] ones this author at least knows how the characters act and react to each other and their situations towards people tryin to chill em.

Even thought it was a bit long winded at times this was a fun and popcorn type of ride read. Like the GI JOE movie. Not too deep, but full of blazin action and mutie chillin to not bore me ta death. This writer knows the downlow of these characters that i been reading about for about 10 years. Unlike the dudes writin Outlanders these dudes at least KNOW what the characters wear and how dey act.

Having the trader and the old scool dogs back was trippin! Dig that in a big way man. Trader and them cool cats need their own series. War wags is bumpin and chillin through the mutated infested lands. Big guns and hot steel! What happened to the sex in these books? Sex and violence went hand in hand back in the day.
